SWA boarding pass print at resort?

Anyone know if you can print your SWA boarding passes at WDW resorts? We are staying at POP.

I don't know about Pop, but many people on these boards have reported that they went to the front desk at their resort just after midnight with their SWA confirmation number and someone there was willing and able to print the boarding passes. SWA has just announced that you can now print your boarding pass starting 24 hours prior to your flight so you no longer have to wander down to the front desk at midnight in your PJs!

I hope someone replies specifically about their experiences doing this at Pop.

Actually its 24 hours prior to the flight departure time now and yes the resort can do this for you!

This has nothing to do with ME and you don't have to go through ME to do it, go to guest services instead. You will have to transport your own luggage and still check in at the airport as SW isn't yet a participating airlines for ME.

YES! Just go to your Lobby Concierge desk 24 hours prior to flight departure time with your confirmation code, and they can print that out for you.

never booked with southwest..and might..since they don't pre assign seats..when printing out the boarding pass 24 hours ahead..are you then assigned seats? thanks...amy

Southwest has open seating. When you get your boarding pass, you are assigned into the A, B, or C boarding group. A's go first, then B's, then C's. This is why folks like to make sure to get that A boarding pass.

Personally, I LOVE the open seating process. Check in at the airport counter (for luggage) is quick due to no seat squabbles, boarding is actually quicker, and since the turn around time is fast, it keeps SWA's costs down dramatically.

Not to mention it increases the chance of having that middle seat go unoccupied, as it did on my past two flights... woo hoo!

No, you get a boarding pass with either A, B, or C on it. When you get to the airport, you will see three lines corresponding with the group you got on your pass. Line up there, first come first served. Each group loads in order.

Go to the concierge desk, give them your confirmation number, and they will print your boarding pass out for you. I was able to do this in July at AKL and in August at the Boardwalk.

Unless something has changed recently, I'm afraid the answer is no. IIRC, participating airlines are Delta, Song, United, Ted, JetBlue, American and Continental.

It is not recent in the least. Disney resorts will print your boarding pass at the front desk for you. I have been doing this since the online check in started with SWA. You don't use the DME people, you go to one of the front desk Cast Members. And, with SWA you can now check in 24 hours before your flight.

In December, 2003, just after midnight, the PC front desk CM took me to a little room with a computer where I could check in for my return SWA flight.

I asked when I checked in (no one on duty knew), then called the front desk about mid-way through my visit and was told that a CM on duty at the front desk would direct me.

It worked! I was in Group A and a very happy camper!

Yes, they changed this just within the past few weeks to allow you to check in 24 hours ahead of your departure time!

Thats good to know. We are going to have a laptop and can check in online but won't be able to print the boarding passes. I know that you can have them "reprinted" for you upon arrival at the airport but feel safer with them already in hand.

Ok, for example, if my flight leaves at 7 am on Nov. 1, do I check in after 7 am on Oct 31 or can I check in after 12 midnight on Oct 31? Sorry if I am not wording this right. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about.

If your flight leaves at 7am on Nov 1, you can check in starting at 7am on Oct 31st.

Coronado Springs Concierge printed my wife's SWA boarding pass 24 hours before her flight and they printed my AirTran pass 24 hours before my flight.
