SWA assigned seats?

I heard that SWA was going to test 'assigning seats' as opposed to the system they use now. Has this begun or does anyone have any info?

I believe they are testing this only out of San Fransisco...not 100% sure, but it is not affecting any flights originating in any other part of the country right now.

It was announced yesterday that it is also being tested in Indy.

LOL, if it was being tested at San Francisco that *would* be big news, as SWA doesn't service that airport. The tests so far are being run in San Diego.
