You had to book your flights by August 1. I don't think that they will work if you use it today.

fyi another promo that is being sent to SWA rapid reward members (im not messing around with it) provides opportunity to earn 2 bonus credits towards a flight, a link for the following rolling out via email, not on the website yet. It is specific to the rapid reward member:

look in the sticky at the top, you may find the website for the share florida southwest promotion

they are still accepting invites

however, if it continues now like it did in the past, getting the code from Southwest might be luck of the draw

many who applied before did not get their code from SW

there also might be a few codes out there, since the original cut off date for the promo was July 31

they have extended it until setp 30, but there are black out dates in november something like nov 22 through the thanksgiving week, if any of your dates fall in the black out period the code cannot be used

I did get this offer in my email about 2 mos ago. It came in ds10's name. He was awarded the credits but still about 5 short for a free flight.

Send someone a postcard and they'll receive a link to send for coupon code. Dh and I sent them to each other, our kids and parents. Anyone can create fictional names for email accounts on hotmail too, depending on how much effort you want to put into getting a coupon code.

Looks like the new cut off date is September 30 2010

invite will probably be like last time, some will get them and others will not

they supposedly will come from SW within 7 days

in a previous incarnation of this promo, many applied, some got the code others did not, that is what i meant by luck of the draw

everyone gets the invite from florida.com, but the second step involves sending a request to SW which may or may not result in a code coming to your INBOX

there was no rhyme nor reason last time ( unless they had a specific number of codes they were giving out each day )
