SW travel funds

I know southwest has that stupid online policy that only allows you to use 4 forms of payment per transaction

I had a reservation for 4 people that I just got a refund on. When I book my next flight and go to use the travel fund is it considered 1 form of payment since all funds were under the same reservation # or 4 forms of payment since there are 4 people?

I can split and buy 2 sets o 2 tickets Just didn't want to waste time trying it one way then go back and retry and miss out on low fares. Going sprig break so I know fares book fast once released

I learned the hard way that there are only 4 places to enter payment options. That means unless your 4 travel fund credits (which are per person) can pay for the entire reservation, you'll only be able to use 3 of them plus your credit card ifyou book for 4.

Now I book no more than 2 people per reservation - which can be a pain. But it makes it much more likely that I won't have to let any refunds expire before I can use them.

If you have a problem then just call to make the reservation. I had a different issue with travel funds this morning and got it all worked out while on the phone and the woman made our next flight reservation once we got it fixed.

This is what I thought. Thanks. When return flights come out I will have to book them 2 and 2 so I get use 2 persons credit and credit card per transaction

Were you trying to use more than 4 different ways to pay? If so, did the Rep allow it? AFAIK, the reps don't let you use more than four ways to pay, either. It would be good to know if they do, though.

The reps can combine credits and such or so I've been told ,but if a rep books your flight you can't alter it online yourself so if your price goes down or if you need/want to change flights you will need to call a rep again.
