Has anyone booking on SW notice if you book individually as opposed to group, the ticket price is cheaper? For example, I've been frantically seaching the SW site and noticed if I purchase 1-ticket, the price drops about $20 each. However if booking all 4, it goes up by $20. Anyone had this experience???? How do you handle?

There is normally certain allotment of tickets at each price. But even without the presence of an allotment there are times I've encountered just what you mentioned.

I have booked in groups of two or on some occasions booked the tickets individually to get the cheaper prices. You have to decide which is more important. The ease of one reservation or the cheaper price with multiple confirmations. For our July trip with 10 persons going to WDW I have 5 confirmations but I saved money "BIG TIME".

I noticed a $53 difference with the individual tickets. Multiply that by 4 tickets, and that's a big savings.

Is this something new that SWA is doing? Or have I just not noticed it before.

I haven't booked my flight tickets yet. I waiting for FD to be announced for my Fall dates first! :)

It's something that's always been the case. You may not be able to get all 4 tickets at the lower price by booking individually. After you purchase the first or second, the price for an individual ticket may rise to the higher price you saw when initally checking for 4 tickets.
