SW Shopping Portal

For those of you who have shopped through the SWA Shopping portal, how long does it take before the points post to your account?

My dad is about 2K points short of a ticket home from Orlando and so I suggested that he try the SW shopping portal to buy his mom some flowers for Mother's Day. Sure enough, there was an offer for 7 pts/$1 at 1800Flowers + 1750 BONUS points with a purchase of $35 or more...AND he used his SWA Visa to make the purchase. So by his calculations, he should be receiving about 2200 RR points. The only question is....when?? Our trip isn't until October so he isn't exactly crunched for time, but he is the only one of the 8 of us who is still waiting to buy a ticket home. So far, he has a ticket to Chicago....but since we live in Grand Rapids, we still have to get him all the way home.

I ordered through the portal on April 18, and the retail points posted to my account on April 23. The points from the credit card will not post until after my statement closing date along with all the other credit card purchase points.

I've had them take up to three months. This was Home Depot, not the retailer you've mentioned.

It varies. I’ve had some post 2 weeks and some 2 months. RR shopping said it depends on the merchant last time I inquired
