SW schedule open

Only booked one way as our return date was double the price. Hoping for a sale soon.

I was online as soon as it opened to book too! I am so excited because I thought they stopped flying nonstop from Detroit, but there was one flight on each of our dates. Departing was actually less money than going from Flint, though return was more expensive. But overall the difference was only $3/pp and the return time was way better - we get a whole extra day at Disney!

The prices are ridiculous. I was online when the scheduled opened at 6am my time. I chose a flight for $118 per person and put in everyone's names and birth dates. It told me the flight was no longer available at that price. When I clicked back it said all of the Wanna Get Away flights were sold out and the flight was now $438 per person. It was 6am and all I did was input everyone's info and lost the price. Crazy! I can't stand Southwest. I wish another airline flew out of Islip, NY.

Most stressful 20 minutes of the year, lost my flight/price twice in the checkout process right after it was released.

Give it a few days and you will probably see availability. I did that and was successful in getting what I wanted at a decent price. None of the super low stuff (like double digits) but certainly available and around $400 RT.

Columbus to Orlando RT for $294 in January. Not spectacular but I'll take it. Especially since I had enough points for 4 free RT and only had to pay for the 5th one.

I was able to get Albany (NY) to Orlando R/T, direct flight for $238 for 2/21, returning 3/6. I was happy!

Yes it is!! Was able to get my flights.. was about $100 more than I wanted to pay but I will keep an eye on it. Wouldn't mind a credit to use later. Finally!

So sad. Missed out on double digit fares from Dallas in January. Having to buy 5 tickets is really expensive. I was trying to get it around $200 round trip per person. Not even close...

I don't think that will happen for me. I am looking at Presidents week. I am used to having to get those flights first thing in the morning, but they have never sold out of Wanna Get Away fares in the first minute they went on sale, which is what happened this morning. I will keep checking, but I am not hopeful.

With a holiday, I am not sure. When they first released the dates for my flights, the WGA fares were listed as sold out for the preferred one by the time I convinced people we needed to book tickets. I sat tight for about three weeks or so and they did release more WGA fares for those flights SO I bought them right away! We had tried changing travel dates and there was no resort availability for our party's specific makeup (multiple rooms and club level involved). Don't give up - you have LOTS of time!

I was not aware Southwest released lights this am until now! Luckily, I happened to check this am for flights for Princess Half marathon weekend, since registration for AP/DVC opened today. Round trip from PHL to MCO was $246. I can live with it.

I was able to book Albany to Orlando for $207.00 RT. Making a quick long weekend out of it!
