Southwest fares for BDL to MCO finally dropped to around $155 w/taxes for their current schedule. Hope someone can use this. I got impatient and bought with Delta 2 weeks ago for more than this. Oh well :( .

Just changed my $493 for two (5/4 - 5/9) BDL to MCO to $313, savings of $180!. SW is crediting my charge card $25 in taxes and the remaining $155 is in "Ticketless Travel Funds Remaining". SW said after my May trip is completed, I can write to SW for a $155 refund or keep the funds for a future flight.

Thanks, SW!

I saw the Southwest email this morning when I got to work, went online immediately, and snagged two round trip tickets for approx. $155 each for our May trip!!

AND they are non-stop, AND the are in the middle of the day (which we like, so we don't have to get up early).

I was PSYCHED!!!

HURRAY!

I got round trip for 2 in May for $313...just my husband and I WITH NO KIDS!!!! Can't wait!!!

How difficult is it.....and how long a drive.....to get to BDL from Southern NH? Have never flown BDL, but if may be worth it as airfare from Manchester, NH is hovering around $200 still......

Not sure, I guess it depends where you are coming from. If you are in eastern NH, my guess is that you'd come down 93 to 495 to the Mass Pike, to 91 South to BDL. If you are in western NH, I think you'd just try to get to 91 south and go from there. I guess I can't say how long, because I don't know where you're starting from. Try mapquest or expedia to get mileage and times :D .

BDL is Bradley Airport in Hartford, CT.

I checked out on Mapquest and its approx. 2 hrs 15 minutes from Nashua, NH.

Thanks Sammy. I'm in New Boston, about 30 min from you. When we went to 6 Flags NE(which isn't far from BDL, I believe) it took us about 4 hours from here.

It is about 45-50 minutes from the Auburn, MA exit on the mass turnpike to BDL. From NH you would go 495S to 290W to 90W to 84 (SorW?) to 91S. You are only on 91 for a short time. I think it should take about 2 hours, unless of course you are coming down 495 during rush hour!!

We could book from Midway in Illinois to Orlando for $155.00 non-stop round trip. Is that a good price? We've never flown Southwest before.

Anne, If you take 84 off of 90, this takes you into Hartford. You would take 91 North, not South, to get to BDL as Windsor Locks is North of Hartford about 15 Min.

If you do come in via 84, take the Route 291 (exit 61 I believe) connector (Manchester, CT area) to 91 North (puts you on around exit 35), it will avoid downtown Hartford.

I almost booked from Logan and saw the rate for SW out of Bradley the other day. Thankfully we waited....finally got a great rate $469.50 for the three of us, non-stop, great flight times. Yeah!!! Maybe this will make up for the lack of codes so far...but still keeping my fingers crossed. They have to come out sometime, they just have to!!:)

It is a very good price, but, to find out for yourself, go to another airline's site and see what they are charging for the same dates.
SWA is a wonderful airline, many people feel that the lack of seating assignments is a hassle, but, we have never found it to be. Just get there early and check in. You should not have a problem finding a seat.
