I have a question regarding our reservations I made. It says to list each individual name (first, middle and last name) as it appears on government issued ID. But when filling out the reservation it has middle name. On some of our drivers licenses we only have middle initial, but I made reservation listing our full middle name. Is this going to be a problem? I didn't think it would be, but now am questioning myself. Thanks.

For domestic travel it will not be a problem for check in. I would give southwest a call, to see if they can reissue the tickets with names as shown on your IDs if it will make you feel better. If they can't, I really wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Domestic tickets don't need to be exact, although you should always try to make them that way. It is common for people to list Bill instead of William, Bob instead of Robert etc.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with that call; it won't be a problem at all. Even a misspelled name generally isn't a problem.

Don't worry. When I make my reservations I type in my middle name, but my ID only shows middle initial. Also on the SW boarding pass it only shows first and last name, it has never shown my middle name or initial.

Thanks. That makes me feel more at ease, knowing that someone else has also done this without any problem.
