SW refundable ticket question

I did a search, but couldn't find an answer to this question. Hope someone can help me! If I buy a senior fare refundable ticket for my sister on my credit card, and she decides not to go, will the refund go back on MY credit card? She's kind of afraid to fly and I don't want to put pressure on her, but I'm worried that at the last minute she's going to back out (even though she really wants to go to Disney!). I'm a planner, so I want to buy our airline tickets soon since the dates are already open for our March vacation.

Yes, the refund is made to the same credit card used for booking.

Be aware that on a senior ticket they will check age before they allow a check in, so you won't be able to check in and get her a boarding slot 24 hours ahead unless she has been "age verified" ahead of time. IIRC signing her up for Rapid Rewards would get her verified, but I don't know if that is valid for the first flight after signing up or if they still have to actually see her I.D. to verify age for her first SW flight and add the verification to her Rapid Rewards profile. It's worth a phone call to RR to find out.

You still get your boarding slot. You have to prove you are a senior at the counter before you get the actual boarding pass. We just did this last week.

Thanks for the clarification! It's been awhile since I had to check in a senior and I remember that something was restricted until age was verified. Getting the boarding slot I guess is more important!
