SW - Promo Code When Changing a Reservation

Is there any way to apply a promo code if you are changing a current reservation? We have a RT reservation booked but would like to change the time of one leg. I have looked but cannot see any where to add the promo code on the changing reservation screen. If I call Southwest can they do it over the phone?
