Looks like Chase took away the offer. We had a referral and my dh called but they said they are no longer accepting them. Anyone know what is going on? There is a 25k Plus card offer but obviously, we were hoping for the 50k.

It seems that the 50k offer for the Plus fluctuates between being publicly available (rarely), available only by referral (nearly always), and not being available at all. I would anticipate it will become available again soon, although I haven't tracked it enough to give a guess of when. If you can, I would wait.

It's actually an automated message. No rep even answers. Just says they are no longer accepting referrals for the Plus card.

Thanks for the heads up - I just got an email notice recently about being able to refer from my Premiere account. I was going to wait until I became eligible for Plus referrals before I signed the wife up for both, but now will have to watch & wait.

If you still physically have the offer they will honor it. When we applied for our card they only gave us 25thousand points but because I had a copy of an email with the 50thousand points offer, they honored it.

All I have is a referral from a person online. I have nothing targeted to me from Chase. The automated message just says they are no longer accepting referrals for the Plus. It just sounds like they take them away from time to time. I'll just sit tight and hopefully, they start accepting again.

I don't know if it's the same with the Southwest card, but I was able to walk into a physical Chase location to get the better United card offer a year ago. I think you get better treatment in the bank. Just a thought.

Hmm, interesting thought! Thanks!

I know two weeks ago when I checked in for my flight outbound and then again for the return flight there was an offer for 50K SWA CC that poped up on the check in confirmation screen.

So what you could do is if you have enough SWA RR points is book a cheap flight to where ever using your points. But make sure its a flight that will be leaving in a day or two. Just encase the offer goes away if it has not already since I took my trip two weeks ago and saw it.
Do the online check in and click on the offer for 50K. Click on the link process the CC application. Then go back in and cancel the flight. Remember when you cancel the flight to selection the refund button to get your $5.60 tax money refunded to your credit card. When you cancel the flight the points used will be redeposited to your RR acct.

Was this the premier or plus card? The premier offers are still out there but I need the plus.

Hmm... they need to review my application a little longer. Any guesses as to what the problem might be? I opened a business card less than 2 months ago; could this be the problem? I had no problems then, it popped up as approved right away. I also wonder if it's because I used the income that I reported on my 2015 taxes, but those went out in the mail this morning, so the IRS/credit bureaus don't have this info yet. I know I haven't had a Plus card in awhile, so I should be OK there. Any guesses why I have a "decision pending" response?

I have had that happen a few times and was approved. I think it depends how many cards you have and how recently you have opened them. Don't give up!

I recommend calling to ask about it. That's what my husband did. They actually had a good reason to deny his application, but he called and got it. I think that somehow made a difference!

I just got a bunch of "give this to your friends for 50k points" so they must still be offering it through referral.

I just tried applying for both personal cards (plus and the premier) at the same time using two different browsers. Last time (3 years ago) getting the business card was such a hassle--even though we do have a legitimate business--that I was hoping not to have to deal with it. The Plus was submitted first and approved immediately. The premier was a half second later and I got the "We need to review your application a little longer" message. Anyone done this recently? Any suggestions on calling or other tips getting it approved?
