Hi
I have never been to SW, have always wanted to but everytime we come to FL we spend all our time at DW. Can SW be covered in a day? Will a 4 yr old like it? We have trip planned to DW 4/24-4/30 and were thinking up going to SW on 5/1. Thanks for any advice.

Yes Sea World can be covered in a day, particularly with a young child, versus a teenager. THat difference is because teenagers like the big rides, the younger ones can't go on them. I can't see why a 4 year old wouldn't like it. It's a park that's very child friendly. There's a lot to see, but crowds are handled much better there than at WDW, so lines aren't an issue. Besides, there are a lot of shows, so you're mostly waiting for those, and not in line. Sea World is absolutely worth going to if you have the time. We love it there.

The 4 year old will enjoy the play area behind Shamu stadium. They have benches set up under the crawl nets for the adults to sit. You'll be in this area for a couple hours.
In the afternoon, the 4 year old will enjoy petting a dolphin in the Key West area. Bring lots of cash, a cup of 4 fish is $4, and it goes fast. Buy 3 or 4 cups and have a camera ready to take some pictures.
