So at the 24hour mark we checked-in for our flight, my wife and daughters all got A boarding passes, but for me it said "no boarding pass available check in at airport". Is there now a chance that I will not get a boarding pass at all and get bumped? If I do get one will I be able to board with the rest of my family or do I have to wait if I get a B or C?

You will get your boarding pass at the airport, which will more than likely be a B or a C. Since the rest of your family will board before you, they can "try" to save you a seat, by sitting in the aisle and window seat of a row, leaving the middle seat for you. They should probably move towards the rear of the plane, as that typically fills up last.

You have most likely been randomly chosen to go through the "Special" security line and get the extra screening. You will still get a boarding pass but it will most likely be in the "C" group like the PP said.

Just have your family save a seat and it won't be a problem.

Thank you, I feel better at least knowing I will get on the plane.

15 hours and counting.

That's not 100%. If the flight is overbooked and there are no volunteers (or not enough), those who got their boarding passes last will be bumped. I would get to the airport early. It's not likely to happen, but it could.

what happens if you buy the early bird checkin.......????

It's too late for that. Even if he paid for early bird, if he's on the security watch list I don't think he would get an early boarding pass.
