SW Online checkin problem

I've been trying for the last half hour to check in for my 12:30 pm flight tomorrow. I go to the apprpriate screen and put in the res# and passenger name and hit the "retrieve res" button and I get a SW error message box that says I'm either before 24 hours or within 1 hour. Checked my reservation, numbers, names, etc and even called SWA. The rep walked me through on the phone but I got the same message ( think he thought I was putting in incorrect numbers or spellings. He didn't understand either and ended up telling me I'd need to check-in at the airport. We get there early anyway because we check bags and like to relax and have something to eat before getting in the boarding line...but darn I like having that A pass in my hand before I leave the house!!

Anyone else ever have this happen? It didn't even get me to the screen where it would say "airport check-in required" if one of us had been selected for extra security or something

Thanks, I did try that, and I actually shut down and restarted too. Also went with DD to her friend's house to drop off her beta fish...and went online there and had the same thing happen

I'm going to call SWA again later...this is bugging me....

nahhh...

you have to check-in at the airport....

we just went through that with my DH last week.....

Although at the airport they just quickly looked at his id and gave him a boarding pass... nothing extra...

We did. I called SW and she said she knew immediately what the problem was for us. We had mixed up the zero and o..or the one and the L (can't remember which..but one of them, they never used and she said it's always being taken for the opposite)

The first guy I talked to thought that was the problem Rick, as our conf# has an "I" which many people mistake for a 1....but I was doing it correctly. I talked to a lady there later last night...she said it probably meant that all the online passes were gone. I asked well wouldn't it still "bring up" my res with a message to check in at the airport and she said no, I could possible get that message about the time frame beign wrong even though it wasn't. She assuured me my res was in order and to just get to the airport early and there's still a possibility of an A. We shall see....it will be no big deal if DH and DD19 and I have to separate, though I like to be with at least one of them to hold my hand LOL

Wear clean underwear... odds are someone in your party was selected for secondary security screening. Look for a big "SSSS" on your boarding pass.
