I always make sure to check all of us in at exactly 24 hours prior to our trip, but I'm trying to remember the exact process. This particular trip, we all have our own confirmation numbers (6). In the past, I've printed our boarding passes, but I can't remember if I did that immediately after checking in, or if I checked all of us in, and then printed. I'm just trying to do what is fastest, obviously, so we can get a decent boarding order. Can someone refresh my memory, please? Thank you!

You can check everyone in first and then go back and print boarding passes.

When I've had more than one confirmation number for check in I had each one on a different device and checked them at the same time. Although, that could be difficult with 6 numbers. Good luck!

You don't have to print right after checking in either, you can go back and do that any time. I wouldn't waste time on printing :)

Thank you all so much! I feel relieved that I won't need to print immediately. We just flew SW a year ago, but for some reason I just couldn't remember how to go about it. I think I'll enlist my kids and their various iPads and phones. :)
My thought is that I could check-in my youngest, who is 4, and myself last, since we would hopefully be able to do family boarding anyway.

I checked in at home first then printed my boarding passes when we got to the airport.

Good info here, thanks! I'm a Southwest virgin and we're flying to Orlando on Monday with them.

I would open multiple browser windows and have them ready to go. Check them all in and then go back and print.

Have you ever tried this? I did last time and ended up checking in the same person twice and the other person not at all! Be careful to complete one checkin and close that window before starting the next. I think using different devices is safer.

I have not had any success with opening multiple windows on one device. For some reason it flips the second person to the first person's confirmation number; 1st person gets checked in twice, second person not at all. Last time we traveled (4 confirmation numbers), I set up two laptops. I opened two windows on each laptop, and entered the 4 travelers. I did traveler #1 on my laptop and traveler #2 on DD's, so I could book travelers #1 and #2 simultaneously. As soon as I completed the check-in process for travelers #1 and #2, I closed those windows and started on travelers #3 and #4 (on the two different laptops). Once everyone was checked in, I went back and printed the boarding passes.

I will have 7 different conf numbers when I take the extended family next year on points. Since the flights will be close to free ($78 in taxes total for 7 RT flights), I will bite the bullet and buy EBCI for everyone just so I don't have to do multiple check ins.
