We will be heading down to Orlando in late September/early October and are thinking about a day at SW.

What are the crowds like at SW that time of year. I know that in DW it is usually a relatively slow time of year and I assume that this would be the same with SW. However over the past few years with the free dining promo, crowd levels have increased somewhat. Has this had an effect on Sea World?

I'm going to bump this up, since I asked the very same thing last week and got no answers! The only thing I've been able to find so far is that on weekends in October, Sea World has special Halloween activities for the kids....

We're going the same time you are and are also planning to go to Sea World. The hours are short--I believe it closes at 6 during the week, 8 on the weekend.

That's all I know so far! Hopefully someone who has been there during the fall can give us more info!

Add another bump to this, I will be there Sept 25 through Oct. 4 and we are also planning a SW day. Hope it is fairly empty. I was at Busch last year around the same time and it was completely empty, walked onto all the rides. Universal and DW were a little more packed not bad but nowhere near as empty as Busch.

Hi All

Just looked at park hours for September (when we go) and SW closes each night at 6pm.
Is this to do with the sale/takeover of Anhouser Busch??
Dissappointed not to see Shamu Rocks on this visit. Been many many times in September and always seen it before:scared::scared:
