SW in Oct? Check your fares

I'm stuck up late tonight waiting for my DS to get back from a concert, so I thought I'd check SW to see what my flight was selling at now. (just so I could feel good knowing I got it cheaper) Turns out it is $59 right now, $10 cheaper than I paid.

I called SW and had them talk me through changing it. I now have a $20 credit for next summer's trip.

I have been keeping an eye on flights for Sept. and they have not been coming down. Just told daughter they added 2 flights for going at 79$ but nothing yet for coming home and that maybe we should jump on one of them. Well... didnt yet and i check this morning and went 1 went up to 94 and other to 119..... holy smokes SW wheres the .. hopefully next month..

from islip...ours are up to $114 & 109...we paid 79 each way

Mine were up, then back down, then I caught them last night at the $59.

For those who are still looking.....you might try Tues night/Wed am at 12:01am est. I did that once and found they dropped one of my flights I was watching for about 15 mins. I think it went from $99 to $69, but only for those 15, then it reset itself.

Also, they do seem to raise prices for the weekends.

we got 79 each way. one is 134 the other is 104.
