SW flights are up through April!!:thumbsup2:goodvibes

They weren't up at 6:30 but were up at 6:45 :woohoo: Booked our flight down on April 20 and the rates were really good considering Easter timing :dance3:

Got mine too! Prices weren't as bad as they could have been but not as good as I've seen in the past either - of course we don't normally travel that time of year. Glad it's done and I can relax now :cool1:

We are looking for the 21... and the prices seemed HIGH! What did you get?

I got $1,400.00 for flights down on the 15th and returning on the 25th....The kids are going to miss two day so school but oh well. I wanted the extra time in Disney!!:thumbsup2:goodvibes

Wow! That was like a feeding frenzy! The non-stop flights from Providence were sold out (wanna get away) in like 3 minutes! I had multiple tabs open to compare times/airports/fares and they kept switching my itineraries.

I ended up with the 4 of us flying in and out of BDL for about $1400.

I hear ya, I was in the process of booking the noon flight out of BDL and it came up sold out......for the wanna get away far........So I took the six am flight out!!

I am not an expert on SW, but I thought the fares were high. The return was twice as high as going down. Of course, our dates were kinda stuck in stone b/c we are on a cruise too, but a little shocked . . . $1000 for three out of Chicago.

Of course, the benefit is that it is done, so I can stop obsessing now.

I think they are a smidge high too. I only need one leg, got airtran down for $64!! one way. The flight back with airtran is 135, southwest is 186, but I like southwests time better. Flying home on April 17th. Who knows what will happen when they merge. :confused3 Trying to decide to just book and be done or hang around a day or so......

Wow- I couldn't get myself to Bradley for a 6 am flight never mind the girls!!

I'm so glad that's done. Now I need to get going with the car rental. Always something to obsess about :)

I hear ya that it is early, but my kids are GREAT about getting up early to get on an early flight. Getting, up early for school is a totally different story!!:rotfl::rotfl:

waiting patiently for end of May. ;)

Can't believe they actually had some nonstops to FLL out of MHT and PVD. I would love to fly SW both ways for our cruise/Disney vacation. I hope they still offer one in May!!!!

Note to my friends at Southwest:

"With all the flights you have to FLL, can you just throw in one nonstop to FLL on May 21st? It would make my life alot easier!" :rotfl2: (especially my packing for a ten day vacation, with no baggage fees to worry about) ;)

Does it mention on the site anywhere, when they will open up through May?

You can check the SW site under Travel Tools but right now it still says that today they open up through April 25th.

Got online at 5am EST this morning and kept refreshing the screen til just after 6:30am when the schedule opened up.

I paid $950RT form Providence to Orlando for 2 people departing on the 16th and returning on the 21st. They had some flights that were less expensive but they had stops and were at bad times. While I paid more than I have ever paid, I am very happy with the flight times I was able to get. :thumbsup2

BTW, our flight down was sold out in 75 minutes!! (wanna get away)

Dates were originally Oct 5th was going to be new schedule through June 11th, then they changed last week to Sept. 28th for dates through April 25th. Keep checking southwest.com bottom of page under travel tools, and look back often because they do change. Hope this helps

Just booked out of Bradley too! 6:00 AM AAK! But, I did not think we would be going this year as it is Easter week. The flights were higher than usual but not astronomical like I expected! Can't beleive we are going!!!

Disappointed that at just after 8 am, that one way from MDW to MCO is already at $245. Makes me wonder just how few $99 fares are actually available. Wonder if this is a hint of what is to be with their Air Tran merger.
