SW Flights are up: Go get em.

SW fares are open, i was able to get $79 per person down(4 of us)

Only issue is now finding flight home. The only non stops from MCO to BDL were 9:30 am(too early) or 5:30 pm(too late).

If i were to take the 5:30 flight, what would i do with my bags if i were to spend that day at the parks as SW does not participate in Resort Airline Check in? Could i keep them at the hotel and they would hold them for since i would need to get the ME back to airport from my resort anyway.

SWA has been a participating airline for almost a year now. Bell services will also store your luggage until it is time for you to leave.

It is under travel tools at the bottom

We are currently accepting air reservations through September 30, 2011. On March 15, we will open our schedule for sale through November 4, 2011. This date is subject to change! Please check back freque

THank you!:thumbsup2

Flights were $119 each way out of Milwaukee. Last year they were $79-$99. Ouch for a family of 6! Ended up booking the return on Airtran since the other two nonstop airlines leave at noon - way too early for me! Southwest doesn't leave until 11:00 am which is a bummer. Hoping the Airtran or Frontier 7:30 am flights go down in price :sad2:

(removed my 8/11 trip signature since the kids now read well and it's a surprise!)

I'm so dissapointed that Southwest cut the flight schedule out of Milwaukee. Last summer they had 2 or 3 nonstops a day and now they are down to 1. We actually are flying out of Midway, yes it is a further drive but we were able to get $69 each way on Airtran for August 10-24. I love Southwest but with the reduced flights and the price increases it just didn't work to fly them.

I have been checking since the day the flights came out from BDL TO MCO-139 down and 189 back and the time for the flight on the way home is 9:45am!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure what to Jetblue is a bit higher but better times. I was hoping that for Aug. the prices might be a bit better!!:scared1::scared1:

Check your flights - Ours just dropped for the begining of June - Orlando home to Manchester NH - Just got a $100 credit. :)

Totally Excited... My flight just went down $24.00 one way. :thumbsup2 Every penny counts toward the next trip. I am more excited that I got a roundtrip airfare instead of one wayers. I was still able to make the change.:woohoo: I called SW before to make sure I didn't goof the trip up. :yay: Even better news I can do it again and again and again.:rotfl2:

My flight home went from $114 to $72, MCO to Providence. If only I had had more patience. :rotfl:

Please can someone help me by telling me what to do is our SW flight has gone down in price since I booked it originally? I think it has dropped significantly!!

Yes, use the Change Reservation feature on southwest.com. You can then "change" your flight to the same flight number, but at the new price. This is considered a change by SWA. You'll then get travel funds added to your confirmation number.

Thanks! What if we have decided that we want to fly back home a day earlier and the price is still cheaper than what we originally booked? Can we do this ?

Editing....found out that I could do this! We are now flying home the day we get off of the ship, saving $84.00 RT plus the cost of another day expenses (eating, hotel, etc)! Yippie!! I'm so excited!! Thanks for your help jcarwash!!!
