SW Flights are up: Go get em.

I got great prices for 9/16 and 9/26 from BDL. Just $79 each way nonstop. I am very happy!

They are about 250 dollars higher than airtran. I got a great price going down 79 bucks but coming back it was $135. gotta go with airtran.

:eek:OMG, the price are soooo high in my area

I agree. This Sucks Big Time. $129 one way is not a deal in any way, shape or form. Plus I have to wait to book my second leg home and once I book going there on SW I would kind of be stuck taking what I can get coming home....because I park my car there.....

Drats...Curses (shakes fist at the sky)

$97 each way Chicago to Orlando 9/17-9/24. Not as good as last years $79 but I think the way air fare is rising that this isn't too bad.

Same here. Last year I paid $89 each way from LI to Orlando, and didn't buy tickets until about 3 months before my flight.

Now they are $129. I'm thinking of holding out. Last year when I checked flights the prices bounced back and forth between $89 and $159. So do I book now and get the flights I really want, or wait it out for a dip in price. I know you can get a credit but we're skipping next year and have no use for a SW credit.

119 seems high.. got 94 for the trip we cancelled for March well shoot. I have to actually lose money extending my dates past thier year on the credits.. this is not a good day.

From Baltimore to Orlando I got tickets for $109 each way. They are about $15 more than I paid last year, but last year they were $15 more than I paid the year before. Right now Airtran hasn't been below $112 for their flights for the end of August. So I'm ok with what I paid. Oh and the Airtran flights weren't non-stop and the SW ones are.

I wish I could fly another carrier (I guess I could but I would have to travel over an hour just to get to the airport and then pay to park my car, so there goes the savings). SWA is the only carrier out of my local airport. What to do?

I am right there with you. Do you think if enough of us hold out, the prices would drop? My flight out would cost $129.00 (last year 92.00) and coming home, get this...$170.00-NO WAY!!!

I'm wondering, SWA opened early today, did we miss a ding or special pricing at opening? Our, do you think they will surprise us with a ding today sometime? What are the chances?

SW fares are open, i was able to get $79 per person down(4 of us)

Only issue is now finding flight home. The only non stops from MCO to BDL were 9:30 am(too early) or 5:30 pm(too late).

If i were to take the 5:30 flight, what would i do with my bags if i were to spend that day at the parks as SW does not participate in Resort Airline Check in? Could i keep them at the hotel and they would hold them for since i would need to get the ME back to airport from my resort anyway.

how long does it take to get the email confirmation for your flight? I haven't gotten mine yet

If you are staying onsite, I think SWA participates with several if not all of the Disney resorts. If not, (and we have done this several times), just have your bags held at baggage at the resort you are staying in.

Just incase anyone else experiences a delay in getting their email confirmation I called and was told that if you book an early bird fare they have a glitch in their system that delays the email. However, the agent was able to push mine through.

Vellamint, you wouldn't happen to know how much it would cost to drive from Long Island, round trip with? I am seriously thinking of driving.

Fare are higher due to increase fuel costs. I just booked to San Diego and it was $1,000. for 2 people

I'm booked, fared well $493 for family of 4:banana: This is the return only one way back home. MCO to AUS
