SW DING fare ?

This question has probably been posted before but.....

If I have tickets on a Southwest flight, and a Ding fare comes out to the same location, does SW credit the difference toward another flight, or how is this handled. Just cuious if I should wait on purchasing tickets to see if I get a Ding, or if I should go ahead and purchase at the online rate.

Yes, they credit if it a big difference back to your credit card, otherwise flight credit. I had a $336. credit for four tickets.

One time I got credit to my visa...one time only credit w/ SWA that had to be used 1yr from the time I BOUGHT my original tickets...not from the date of the price decrease, or the date of my flights. Fortunately that yr we could work in another trip & use the credit. They told me they are not doing any more credits to credit cards unless the request comes in w/in 24hrs of your booking.
