SW curbside check in at PHL

Is there a fee for the SW curbside check in? Also I am taking ME, so when I checkout on the last day I can do RAC, and I wont see My bags until I get to PHL? Its been 2 years since we've flown so Im a little fuzzy...

SW doesn't have any fees.

You can check your luggage at RAC at least 3 hours before flight time and it will be sent directly to PHL baggage claim.

No there is no fee for curbside checkin, however, tips are appreciated, approx. 1-2.00 per bag.

While there is technically no fee to check bags curbside, I agree with the above poster that you certainly should tip, usually $1.00 per bag. Didn't you see the Seinfeld episode titled The Airport? Elaine refuses to tip the baggage check man and her bag is routed to Honolulu.

Yeah, but one time after a cruise I curbside checked our luggage and tipped $2 per bag and my luggage was sent to Chicago instead of Birmingham, so tipping doesn't guarantee anything
