Am I able to give my mother in law my credit?
We will not be able to use it and I can't find the answer on their website.
Thanks :)

We just ran into the same problem. They said, yes, you could transfer it, but you must use the credit before Mid-January (I forget the exact date) because their policies are changing.

Thats good news. I'll give them a call. It would make a great Christmas present to be able to send her to see her daughter. Thanks so much :thumbsup2

Your travel funds can be used by anyone, as long as the flight is booked before 1/28/2011. The actual travel can occur after that date. So, as long as you book the flight for your mother-in-law before 1/28/2011 AND your travel funds haven't expired, yes, you can use them.

From my most recent SW ticket

Effective January 28, 2011, unused travel funds may only be applied toward the purchase of future travel for the individual named on the ticket.
