If someone from home checks us in, do they actually print the boarding passes or is there just a check-in option. I read that we can have the boarding passes printed when we get to the airport. I want to make sure I give my "home" person the right instructions. Thanks for any help.

Yes, your "home check in helper" can simply check you in online (they'll get the option to print them, but they don't have/need to) and then when you and your party arrives at MCO, you can "reprint" your checked in boarding passes.

How do you check in from your cell phone. We'll be in the parks exactly 24 hours before our flight so that would be a great option! I love the disboards. The info. is fantastic!!!

Also remember, any guest service CM can check you in at any of the parks. Just bring your flight info with you, and make sure you have an ID with you, too. I like checking in at the 24 hour mark, but I don't want to hang around the hotels. Any of the parks CM are glad to do it.

There's a great tip! Excuse my ignorance, I'm having a brain-freeze just now, but which CM's can do this? The ones at guest relations at the front of each park? Are there others who can help? Wow, this is great news. (still no tipping, right?)

I am so serious! I was at BWV in May and knew I'd be at Epcot at the 9 PM mark, so concierge told me to go to the guest services at any parks and they will gladly print up your boarding pass. At Epcot, it's the guest services to the left of the spaceship earth. I walked right in, handed them my flight info, and had my boarding pass within a minute. It's a good thing to know!

This is so great! I keep reading these boards, and after awhile you see the same comments, but every once in awhile you get an unexpected useful GEM of a tip. THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting.

Wow! That's great news. Last year we ahd to hang around our resort to get the passes which was right in the middle of the day. Thanks for sharing that bit of info. My husband will be thrilled to know we can do it at the parks

Wow, great tip on checking in through guest relations. Did not know that you could do this!

Word to the wise: do not wait until you get to the airport to check-in if you can possibly avoid it. Also, don't expect to check in at the airport 2 hours before and get an A pass. I forgot to check-in while at Disney last February under these circumstances and ended up with C passes. While we still ended up together in the back of the plane (and it seems as though the flight attendants treat you better there, IMO), it was hair-raising as to whether or not we would be separated.

one question though... everyone is saying you can check in 24 hours before your scheduled flight. Someone I know told me I can't check in until 12:01 a.m. the day of my flight
there are so many of you saying 24 hours so that must be the case .... so where is this other info coming form? Is that the way it used be or something?

It used to be midnight. It's definitely 24 hours now, I did it twice last week.

As for tipping hotel personnel who get BP's for you, Disney hotel (and park) employees are not allowed to accept tips for this. Employees at most other hotels will appreciate it, though.

You can use your phone to check in if it is web-enabled. I recently upgraded my phone for just this reason. (DH has been doing it for quite a while, as he carries a Blackberry.)

Wow, that's good to know about guest services at the parks. I've always tried to have a meal at a resort around the time I had to check in with Southwest so we could get those "A" boarding passes.
