SW Airlines and Bag Check

I asked this on another thread, but no one answered.

Does anyone know if you can still check your bags at POP if you are flying SW? I read that they are now doing it at another resort and it had been mentioned a test had been done at POP. Is that still happening or was it a test only and is now over?

I would imagine that since they are adding RAC to other resorts, POP guests can still use RAC, with SW flights.

That is awesome! I'm glad I learned about this before we went. It isn't that big of an issue to take your bags with you, but it is really nice to not need to worry about storing them if you have a later flight.

How long is it taking to check bags now? I have not been able to use this service since I used it about a week after it first started and let me tell you that line was long.

It depends on when you are using the service and if it is a busy time or not.

I have used RAC at 7:00 am and hardly waited. This year, my companions wanted to check out right at 11:00 am. We waited about 20 minutes.

When I am checking into POR the Saturday after Thanksgiving around 10:00 am or so, it was about a 45 minute wait at the RAC desk for people leaving to get an extra day at home.

So you need to plan accordingly.

I just used it at AS Sports on March 1 at 12:30 pm. There was 1 person in front of me. It was so easy!!

I'm staying at All Star Music in June. Can't wait to use this service. Then I can just head straight thru security and not have to stand in line. Yay!
