SVG Files: Not to sound stupid, well maybe I am..

Can someone please tell me how to cut an SVG File??? I have a Silhouette SD and know there is a way to do this. I think maybe I need another program to go along with it? I love Reddy's files and would love to use some of them! PLEASE HELP!

you need either MTC (make the cut) or SCAL3
there is a trick to make the MTC work with my files - it is on the MTC forurmn or message board if you don't see it ask - they are happy to help
SCAL3 should just open them

and to go along with what Reddy has already posted...

you probably already have the Sil Studio software... but if you upgrade to the Designer Edtition, you can open SVG files.

(and then there are some tricks to making it work, like UNgrouping the file, and reducing the file size to 80% to make it the same size as it was created)
