I was over there trying to get the last few points that I need to cash out and noticed that she has finally put up the daily trivia that she has promised forever to do. There are two questions, my first quesiton said:

Trivia #1: You will be asked a question about the content of a sponsor's site. So all you have to do is click on the link, find the answer in the window that pops up, and then come back and answer the question. The points you earn depend on how much activity our members contribute to the sponsor's site, so feel free to participate in offers at the sites you visit, since this will mean more points for everyone. Earned point totals will be added to everyone's account in 15-30 days.

And then the question was:

Question: Who is this contest NOT open to?

(Answer: Canadian residents)

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't see where it says how many points we will get it we answer right???

Now on to trivia #2 This one just peeved me!!!

Trivia #2: Do you feel lucky? Our second trivia question is usually a little harder, but you can earn points instantly. It costs only five points to enter, and if you answer correctly, your account will be credited with 10 points within 24 hours.


Question: What number might be in the mind of Jane (me) when I am posting this question?
If you'd like a clue then send Jane a greeting card from Shared-Greeting saying hello

Five points will be deducted from your account upon submission of your answer.






Okay, what kind of trivia question is that? We have to send her are card for a clue AND "pay" five points to enter??? I'm sorry, but when it takes over a week to earn 5 points (for those lucky enough to actually find some banners with points) I will not turn around and give them back to her to answer a trivia question where there is no definate answer. All she has to say is "nope, that's not the number I was thinking!"

Now, am I over reacting or is this whole thing just insane????

Is sounds like it is not worth the effort. Maybe it is a trick so they really don't ever payout.

Dana-You are not over reacting-This is NUTS!!!

It really is a shame. This was such a good program at one time. My family earned so many disney dollars through suzykats. It just goes to show how desperate these small sites have become. I guess there just aren't any advertising dollars to be had and she's trying to get some interest in the site. I'm sure she's lost many of us rewardies.

In their defense, I think they did answer your question, above. Points would depend on how much we contribute to the sponsor, so if we all get the answer this way and don't even visit the sponsor, it kind of defeats the purpose.

Personally I would never pay points to enter a contest, but I can sympathize with them for trying to think of ways to keep their site going. I'll bet she thought it would be a way to get people to use Shared-Greeting. In reference to the accusations "she could just say that was not the number she was thinking" and "it could be a trick," I do NOT think they are dishonest! I always got the impression they were sincere!!

At this point I would not trust Suzy !!!!

Although Suzy has been very good to us in the past.,so have we for visiting their sponsors.
That have cut their reward earnings so much that in order to get all the availlable points you have to be a night owl. Not only did they remove the daily rewards but changed the weeklies to 1 pointers and limited availability.
I can't wait to cash out and leave, but I am not going to risk any points I have already earned.

A few days ago, I couldn't sleep (fireworks - ICK).

I decided to do some programs and get a start for the day.

I did my Suzy's for the week. I though I might get a chance at some of the reloads. No such luck! I even tried an hour later, and they still weren't there. I don't think they reload nightly, more like when they feel like it.

I don't see this program lasting much longer.

I forgot one thing. I ended up with 7 points! I am afraid to do the math on this one. I wonder if I will ever get to a $5 gift certificate!

I noticed the same thing, I tried it several nights in a row at different times and there were never any banners to click on.

And no, I don't trust them. There have been too many times when I didn't get credit for clicks, when I would email them, they would say that they would take care of the problem, but wouldn't give me the points. I think it is a joke to expect us to give them 5 points to try and guess a number. Think about it, they will get paid by the site that we send the card from, then *if* we are right with our answer, we will get 10 points. Well, why not just say outright, that you will only get 5 points if you are right, and if you are wrong, we are going to penalize you by taking 5 points! That's all that it amounts too.
