SUVs and Minivans in the Alamo Fullsize aisle @ MCO

I have heard a few comments about people getting SUVs or Minivans in the Alamo Fullsize aisle.

How common is it to see them there?

We got a Ford Edge SUV last November from the full size aisle. It was the only SUV at the time, but there were 3-4 mini vans. We arrived midweek, around 9:30am, first week of November. HTH!

Not very common. Best bet, reserve what you need or want and don't gamble on a maybe.

I've not ever seen anything bigger than a full size in the full size aisle in all our trips anywhere, not just Disney.

We were there in January and again in February of 2012. There were only full size cars.

we reserved a full size last november and were surprised to see 3 or 4 minvans on the aisle. ended up with a town and country for $13/day!

Just rented from alamo at MCO for June 14-24. Nothing but full size in full size.

We booked a full size for January arriving MLK weekend and were surprised to find several mid size SUV's and Minivans available on the full size aisle. We arrived late Saturday night and grabbed a minivan!

See we have no problems using a full size car for 11 days, but I am worried about luggage space. I know I will overpack, and because I have a minivan and am flying southwest, it's only the luggage space in the rental car that has me concerned.

I have no problem putting our carry-ons down by their feet but how much will the trunk hold....

Yes I've looked at the charts on the page, but that dosent really help when we are in a parking garage trying to close the trunk on too much luggage...lol

The Impala has the largest trunk of the full size line. 18.+ cubic feet and we have LOTS of Impalas.

Yep, those Impalas are humongous! We were able to really fit a lot in the trunk!!

lol Maybe I shoulld go to a dealership this summer and look at one.

I know for us a minivan or SUV would be ideal... but if the savings are signifigant, then I want to make an educated decision!
