Sushi...where to find it?

Staying at DLH next summer (7/6 to 7/12) and one of our favorite meals is SUSHI. I've been looking through these threads and have not seen mentioned a good Sushi place to eat. Anyone know where we would could have dinner one night that serves sushi. We won't have a car so we'll be depending on walking and cabs. TIA

I think Roy's at Gardenwalk has some sushi on the menu. Otherwise you'll probably have to go a little further offsite.

This place is about 2 miles away near the Anaheim Packing District and gets good Yelp reviews. You can reach it via taxi/Uber or the ART #10 bus.

I am big sushi fan...noting within walking distance of the resort.

There used to be a great (if not overpriced) Japanese place at the Paradise Pier named Yamabuki...it's now been closed and shuttered for a number of years.

That being said, Roy's is probably your best bet, but be aware it's not straight sushi, it's Hawaiian fusion and a little pricey. There is also a place called Orange Roll & Sushi on Anaheim Blvd. about 5 minutes away by car. I've never been to that particular place, but it's highly rated on Yelp.

Yamabuki went WAY dowhill during their last months (service --unbelievably rude-- and food). We had enjoyed family meals there for years, but had to admit we were relieved when they closed.

While not sushi, Trader Sam's and Tangaroa Terrace have a poki dish. Tasty and on property.
