Sushi on the Dining Plan?

OK, I understand that I'll probably not be able to eat Lobster on the dining plan, but I would love to have some sushi somewhere.
Is this possible?

We had dinner at the California Grill in December. My daughter ordered a sushi platter for her appetizer ($24). It was the best sushi she ever had. The sushi chef at the CG is one of the top five in the world.

And this was on the dining plan? We couldn't get sushi when we were there in Oct.

Yes, we had the dining plan. Our total bill for the three of us at the CG was $218 (excluding alcoholic drinks).

So, you were on the Disney Dining Plan - do you think it is worthwhile to pay 2 Table Meal per person for California Grill?

Wow...it is amazing if they allow you to get $24 Yoshie's Deluxe Sushi Platter as appreitizer

I am thinking if we should go to California Grill, and also watch Disney Firework, as DD is 2-yea-old.

I had some sushi at CG a couple of years ago with Christmas eve dinner and it was very nice. It was also good at the Japan pavilion at Epcot(the upstairs
sushi/lounge place).

Great, we're planning to go to CG anyway, so Sushi will be the way to go.... as an appetizer, main course and desert

I thought that the CG was worth the 2TS meals. We really enjoyed our dinner. We went outside to watch Wishes. It was freezing that night. We went out before we ordered our dessert.

Watching Wishes from the CG, you see fireworks coming from two different sides of the castle--smaller ones from the front and larger ones from the back. I prefer to see them from inside the MK.
