Disluv-You are not too far off. Someone told me, half jokingly, that there IS something addictive put into the wasabi! I am not sure that is ture, but I have to admit...I crave sushi like an addict!
California roll does not have raw fish in it. Just cucumber, crab (usually imitation) and avocado.
And eel really is delicious. So is Ikura (salmon roe.)
The only thing I did not like, that is supposedly a delicacy and very expensive, was "Uni" which is sea urchin. It was gross and I am almost wondering if I did not have an "off" piece cuz veryone raves about it.
Of course the bagel rolls are yummy, but that is definitely AMERCIAN SUSHI (salmon and cream cheese)...I think the Japanese think we are crazy with some of the rolls we eat!
I have yet to try Kimonos but I have only heard great things!
