Does anyone know if they will let you order sushi from Tokyo Dining when you eat at Teppan Edo? I am not that impressed with the rolls they have on the menu there.

You can and I did on our last trip.

Eat sushi often all over the world and on a scale of 1-10 I would rate them at 6.5 taste and 5 on value.

I would get it again based on want. It is acceptable in that regard.

You will like it, it won't be the best ever, you might feel slightly cheated yet satisfied.....LOL!

Also a quick story from that meal: Gentlemen at a table next to us also ordered sushi. When it arrived he asked for extra Wasabi. He then proceeded to spread about 2 TABLESPOONS of Wasabi on top of his roll :scared1:. Not a batted eye while he ate the whole thing. He was sweating and I was laughing. To each their own, but wow!

Lol thanks for the response! I am glad you can order from there!! I love wasabi but dont think I could use two tablespoons..haha!

I believe they will. That restaurant is not the best choice in our viewpoints. Let me explain. There is nothing about the food or atmosphere that I couldn't get at a restaurant in my hometown. I would much rather go somewhere that is special to the trip. But back to your original question. The one time we went there, there were members of our group that ate sushi at the dinner table.

I agree- we do have a japanese steakhouse so I have been pondering whether or not to try it. However, I will be with my whole family (mom and dad who are divorced), brother, and sister. I live with my dad in Minnesota and my mom and rest of family live in ohio and we have never done a japanese steakhouse together and plus, my sister really likes japanese steakhouses. I also want to cross another disney restaurant off my list =)
I also reallllly want to try the Green Tea pudding!

Thanks Dreamin'Dad and OP, DH loves sushi and we have reservations here for our June trip that he was okay with but not excited about. Now he is thrilled to be going here. :) He also loves hot food and I read him the story about the gentleman and the Wasabi, from a man who eats habaneros daily in his omlettes, he thought 2 tablespoons of wasabi was too much! Thanks for sharing.
