Sushi at Kona

I'm curious what the options are for sushi at Kona on the dining plan. Is it available at Kona Cafe as an appetizer on the deluxe plan? Does the sushi bar accept CS credits?

One night for dinner, we were able to add sushi as an appetizer, we had the lava roll I think. I recall MAYBE I was able to get an appetizer plus the sushi but I had to skip dessert.

That's strange. We were on the DxDDP and ate there this past Sept. I had to ask for the sushi menu, but was told I could order anything on it. There were no limitations and it would be my appetizer. I got sushi, my entree, and dessert. The sushi was very good, by the way.

That's great, just what I was hoping to hear! DS & I are both sushi addicts, and he's so excited about his first trip as a dining plan adult that I think he might be looking forward to meals more than rides this time! Kona is already one of his favorite Disney restaurants, so if he can get sushi as his appetizer there that will be perfect.
