Susan Boyle loses 'Britain's Got Talent'!

They were OK, but I would not pay money to see them perform. I would go see Susan or buy her CD's. Frankly, I think she would appeal to the queen more than Diversity would.

ITA. I hope she gets a contract out of this. I'd buy her CD

I'm very happy with the result, I really didn't like her!! A lot of people felt the same way, I don't know anyone who wanted her to win.

I feel the top finalists are already winners! Could Susan Boyle have received any more publicity if she won??? Some might argue that singing before royalty is the ultimate, but I think becoming a household name is the best prize of all.

:cool1: Same here. I would have been pretty annoyed if she had won.

Whatever happened to that little girl Hollie Steel who sang "I could have danced all night." I thought she was amazing, but never saw anything of her again.

We did - she burst into tears last night on her semi-final performace begged for another go.

It was horrible to watch her sobbing on stage, very disturbing she was hysterical

The judges put her through to the final, and she did well but didn't come in the top 3

I'm glad she didnt win. I just dont get the fascination with this lady:sad2: Her 15 minutes of fame is lasting too long for my taste!

She sang well but I wouldn't buy her CD and would probably change the station if she came on. Just like I would with Celine, Barbra, etc.

I think Susan has a beautiful voice and is a very likable person. I'm glad she made it this far and I hope she does everything she has dreamed of doing with her singing.

I bet the Queen will invite her to be part of the Prince's Trust performance.

agnes!

I think she has a nice voice. I don't think it is spectacular. I know people, not in show business, that sing as well. I think a lot of her appeal came because she was not what people expected. They judged her by her appearance and were pleasantly surprised when she started to sing. I'm very glad she had a good time and got to fulfill a dream.

Being a chubby, fairly plain-looking middle-aged woman myself, I had no expectation that Susan Boyle would win...we are a youth and looks focused world.

Aww, unfortunately, Susan's choice of singing "Memories," just wasn't the best selection she could have picked. The first two verses she sung were kind of tame. Sure she could belt out the refrain, but it was the rest of the song that lost it for her. She sang it very prettily, but it just did not have the passion that "I Dreamed a dream," had for her. You knew she was sing that one from her heart. It was personal. "Memories" was just pretty. There are soooo many other songs she would have sang with more heart & soul and made all of us cry again.

Ah, for me it was fun to think that for once it would be different....it's sad to see there are people who think she should go back to the obscurity she came from never to be heard from again.

Me, I still have high hopes for her.

She's a star in my eyes!

I gave up a long time expecting that the world would change. ;)

But, she'll find a niche, I think, in the entertainment world.

:thumbsup2 I agree!

::yes::

She may not have won "first place" but she is still a winner in my book!:)
