Has anybody watched Season 1 on DVD? I didn't see that season and was thinking about purchasing it. I do remember, though, Richard was in the "buff" quite a bit. Do they "blurr" the nude parts like on TV? I have a 5 yo who doesn't need to see the "full" Richard. (I looked on the box and couldn't tell.)

So let's say next week that tribe looses again and the other guy goes, then you have 5 women left and if they merge, it will be 7 women and 5 guys right?

The history of Survivor..they usually merge when there are 10 left...they had a couple of variation from that, but it is usually when 10 are left. So, when the tribes would go into the merge, it would be 5/5 or 6/4 ect. They always tried to go to the merge with more members than the other tribe.

We have the first season on DVD and yes they blur Richards private parts. I had never seen the first season and it is fun to see how much it has changed. The teams started off with so much more back then.

About the Bob Barker t-shirt: this morning on the Early Show Bubba said that he and his grandfather used to watch Bob Barker on TV so it was a sentimental thing.

We have the first season, too, and it's VERY enjoyable! They have a voice-over by Hatch, Gervase, Jeff and Rudy of the first and last episodes that is REALLY interesting! Buy it!

I think that is a good idea having Lisa be the reward. Also, it sounded good to be able to pick but I sure wouldn't want to because it's a lot of pressure and the other tribe might still be mad that she didn't pick them at the merge. But I can see why she picked the team that she did- more women and also the same camp. I thought that the reward challenge was a good one having them go so deep but I think they should have had to rotate players evenly and not just be able to send the best players down. And how gaggy was that when Chris came up with the last one at the end? They NEED to vote HIM off!!! I never had a problem with Ami before this episode but she really drove me nuts last night. I have to say that I won't miss Bubba- and how stupid was he to be talking to Chris about the merge right in front of everyone like that? Speaking of stupidity, in the immunity challenge Lopevi picked 2 strong guys who new what they were doing (well, ok Chad really didn't but...) and Yasur picked Ami and Bubba. I could not believe that that was who they picked- especially after Bubba saying that he's never been in the ocean before coming on here. I mean, come on- what were they thinking having him go out there on the canoe- and Ami wasn't much better. Rory kind of slowed them down with the knots, too.

The way the teams got lopsided is because there were 6 guys total. Sarge was up with Scout so he wasn't in the choosing. Scout divided them up so 3 ended up on one team and 2 on the other. Then Sarge decided to go with the team with 3 guys and he made the fourth.

I think a merge will be coming soon. Otherwise the team with more women can throw the immunity challenge and vote off their last man. Then when the merge comes around there are definately more women than men.

I hope the women can pull this off. The men seem particularly
irritating in this one. I really don't like Sarge, had he been on
my team I'd have lobied to get him off fast!

Was anyone else waiting for them to have *Lisa* be part of the reward? I think that would've been more fun -- since she was the odd person out, make her sit out the challenge, then the team that won reward would get to have their reward *and* Lisa. Play for that extra person.

That is a great idea! I really don't know why, producers didn't think of that. I think another great idea would be an international Survivor. Not only would the survivors have to contend with what they have been doing without but have a language barrier as well.

The women said beyond a shadow of a doubt, Scout was their chief. I have not seen her in a leadership role but that's editing I'm sure. I am with everyone else, I'm bored with this Survivor.

O.K did any one else put Julie on their Fantasy Team and say that she will get nude for the extra 40 points? I did, I need all the help I can get. I'm doing really bad this year on the points.

The way I see it, Rory had nothing to lose with his little speech. He is scheduled next to go. He can lay it all out for them, and hope they take the bait, or they can laugh and send him home. Which is where he would be going anywoy, without the speech.

I was surprised too by how much power Amy has, but usually people who have the power like that get bit in the you know where
I agree that Rory had nothing to lose by making that speech. It's really do or die for him until the merge. I think once the merge happens he might be a little safer.

WOW! Tonights vote really threw me. I thought it would have been between Eliza and Lee-Ann. I really did not think that Rory would have gotten one vote against him, and was totaly shocked that Lisa was the one to go home tonight, just because of the comment she made to Ami.

But yea, Ami has some power there that we the viewer don't really know about. She got Bubba off last week, when every one was gunning for Rory and she got Lisa off this week, when every one was gunning for Eliza.

I have a bad felling that if Ami has her way that Scout will be next.

Love the fact that Twila and Sarg are becoming friends, I really do hope that she stays for a really long time, I like her. Heres hoping that she will make all the right moves and makes it to the end.

I didn't get close, she took it ALL OFF! (40 points for me!)

And the way Sarg was acting, I was suprised that he didn't go somewhere for some alone time.

Wow! Ami has some power. Eliza should be gone, I can not
figure out why she's not. I guess she's not a threat. the team
is not preparing well for a merge but Scout might make it to
Twila and then there will be the strength again. Sarge almost
blew the challenge-I loved seeing Rory overpower him. Nothing
was said about that in the tribes. Hmmmmmmmm
The nudity was entirely gratuitious and dumb.
