Many of the handicapped folks I've met would find sympathy to be insulting. Clearly, Chad was far more physically capable than some of the two-footed guys, so sympathy doesn't even seen relevant. I'm impressed by Chad, not sympathetic.

It really bothered me when the men said they can't believe they were beat by women, especially the FBI agent and the drill sargeant. I know they must deal with strong women in their professions. Have any of these men watched the previous Survivor episodes. Someone should point out to them that the majority of Survivor winners have been women.

Well that's what I meant was respect. It's not like he asked for that to happen to him. How would those guys like to lose a leg? And they don't have to say it to his face. I didn't mean like "oh i'm so sorry about your leg" or that kind of thing.

I know... But those who can't or won't wear
the buffs really need to consider the physical elements
of the game, and start wearing tops that fit
more snug - after all, they know they're going on
the "best" diet of their lives!

ITA! I was a fan of Rupert during his first survivor but then got a bit irritated with him during all stars...but now....geez it is like Will Hung all over again!!!

But he is getting paid so he will do it!!!

Remember that this was said by the FBI agent in his own confessional, and I think it was said mostly in jest. I've watched it back on tape, and he doesn't seem to be serious.

The thing about the "private" confessionals has always astounded me. Don't these people ever click to the fact that everyone WILL hear these comments and the speaker WILL have the face them again? I don't think this particular comment would be any big deal, but in past seasons some poeple have said some really stupid things "just to the camera."

I like Dolly and the way she looked out for Scout. It was a Neleh and Paschal flashback.

I thought it was really cool when whoever (Still getting to know them Brady or John P?) climbed the pole. The local's had to be impressed too.

So those are my early favorite's Dolly and the pole climber.

We have a Survivor pool every year. I came in second once and just about every other time I was first one off. Makes for a lot of laughs at work. We have the standard pool where you draw one name to last through the whole thing. Then a second progressional pool where each week you draw a different name. Of course if you are voted off that is where it ends. Would you believe I drew Chris for the permanent, I thought I was gone when he could not get across the balance beam.

Who hoo made it thru week one, now I have how many weeks to go? Makes for a fun lunch when we draw each week though. Lots of debates about who should go and what would the survivors choose who person they they did that night.

I mean after all you would think would have have voted off the cozy couple last time. Talk about dumb.

Not really. Pick your first four players, assign them categories where you can win bonus points (i.e. "gets naked"). Trade out players when one of your current ones gets voted off. That's about it

Forgot to mention this... I work with a woman that grew up in Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in the 80's. So I asked her what the heck a "Bowhead" was. She said that among sorority chicks, it was fashonable to pull your hair back with these huge bows. So they all called sorority sisters Bowheads.

Then I got her to admit she was a Bowhead back in college.
