Especially now that Amazing Race is just about to end...I'm ready for my Survivor fix!

DH has a countdown on his computer and reminds me every day.

Does anyone have any rituals that they do for Survivor night? We usually have a junk food buffet. Garlic bread with cheese, poppers, rolled tacos, cheese sticks.....and lots of other greasy food. Any other rituals?

OH NO! I just realized that I have a meeting on Thursday night. I will have to have it taped. And it just doesn't seem as good. :-(

DH doesn't watch all of it with me...he'll walk in during tribal council and just watch that. (same with big brother - he'll only wander in on eviction nights! heheh)

I think I need to buy another Tivo just for Thursday nights. heheh

Tomorrow is the night.

I used to watch with DD and DS. DH isn't interested. But now DD is at college and DS has band practice so I will have to pick him up. Looks like tape for me too.

I've seen every Survivor since it started, and the whole family gathers to watch it. But I hate the beginning of the season...all those STRANGERS on the show. I have a hard time adjusting to change.

Me.!! there is a pool at our office to $5.00 per person and we draw from a hat at 10am today -- I hope I get someone who last a while ..

AND there is a girl from Maine (again) and she happens to be related to one of my friends !!! which is so cool !!!

Same way at my house! Survivor time is MY sacred time. DH is told that if the boys need picked up somewhere at 9, HE has to go and get them.

Can't wait for tomorrow night! Is CBS doing the Survivor Fantasy League again? I checked the website on Monday, and there's nothing yet. I never did really well, but it was kind of fun since we don't have a Survivor pool here at the office.

The good news is that AR6 will be starting up just as AR5 ends, so you'll have the best of both worlds.

We usually have buffalo wings or DH makes us nachos. Very very bad ritual . .but yummy!

But her son has a football game. She called at 7:00 a.m. to ask me to tape it for her. I hope I won't spill the beans before she views the tape.
My sister in law was in pool at work last season she won $500.00 by picking Amber.

Count me in as another Survivor fanatic. hehe I am also is a survivor pool and this season I have Dolly Neally a 25 year old sheepherder. GO DOLLY!!!! 25.00 to get in and there is prize money for the winner as well as second runner up.

Already have my picks in for the final 4.... We do a pool at work.; pick who you think will be in the final 4. If one of your picks is voted out on week 3 you get 30 points, 40 points for week 4, all the way up to the sole survivor... Most points wins!!!...

I hate almost all reality TV, but when it comes to Survivor I am a FANATIC! The whole family is. But when I really think about it, what it is that's so appealing. This is season 9 and relatively little has changed since season 1 other than the faces. I mean just minor things changed, but it's really the same show it's always been.

So yea, I'm counting down the hours til premiere.
