Even though I agree that Russel is playing a stellar game, I was hoping they would pay the favor and blindside him. That would have made for a great twist in the game.

Russel got them where they are though. It would have been smart for them to get rid of him now because everyone knows he really played the game well. I really don't want any of the others to win......

Why should Brett win...This is the most we saw of him all season.
With out Shamboo they wouldn't be there either....but not sure if she is really playing the game with a plan.

Tonight was nerve wracking!

Because the day Russell went home two were suppose to go....but there was no tribal that night.

They needed to get rid of the right number of people by finale....

The last tribal tonight was a nail bitter you just didn't know how it was going to go! I am glad it went the way it did though....

Russell has nerves of steel, I tell ya! I honestly had no idea which way the vote was going to go tonight and I don't think Russell did, either! Did you see him look straight up to the sky as if he was thanking God, when they showed that Monica was going home, and not him??

Russell should have held it together a bit better tonight.




I would love to see Terry back too. I was really rooting for him his season.

I was surprised to see Russell so livid tonight... but it made for a good episode. I will miss Russell once he's voted out and/or this season ends! Oh yeah, we get to see him again NEXT season!!


I liked Terry on his season, too. He was definitely the "good guy" to cheer for!

Also, was anyone disgusted with Monica tonight? LOL what a joke she was with that stupid little grin on her face all night eventhough she was 99% sure she was going home. She acted like she put some kind of foil in Russell's chances. And then in the first tribal council, she was quoted as saying "I'm just trying to plant a seed in Russell's head and see if I can get him to vote my way." Who does this woman think she was messing with?

Russell cracked me up when he wore the immunity necklace and THEN didn't play it! He didn't have to; they all already knew that he wouldn't hesitate to play it if he thought he needed it, so they didn't vote for him. That could've backfired on him though, so I give him credit for playing such a strong mind game.


I can't stand Monica and I haven't liked her for many weeks now. I was very glad to see her leave last night. Should make for some interesting Ponderosa videos tonight.

I would love to see Terry (he was the fighter pilot, #3 from many seasons ago) - in an all stars. He physically dominated - I believe he won every challenge, until the final one - usually physical endurance, that on involved balancing on "lily pads" in water.

I did not see that season but I have seen him on our local programing. He discussed how many hours are filmed and then edited into a one hour show and how that editing is sometimes out of the order that things actually took place. It was interesting becasue he let us see how much the producers can skew the show to portray each individual in a way they want to.

Russell is the guy I like to dislike. He is an amazing player taking the Outwit Outplay Outlast to a new level I cannot help but wonder why the players would want to vote him off, he sucks at challenges, he is not really liked and his money is out in the open. Unless the jury votes solely on how the game was played they are not going to vote him the winner, IMO.

Glad to see Monica gone. What an annoying little brat!

I was so glad to see Monica go home, she was so full of herself. She really thought she played them to vote her way. Her grin dropped a little bit each time her name was read.

I've been saying this the whole season. At first I really didn't like Russell when they showed his shenanigans, but you have to admit he's playing the game perfectly! The mind games or whatever he's doing to get them to follow him around like sheep are working. It seems like every week when they're discussing who to vote off Russell's name will come up; they'll admit that Russell needs to go and I think "yippee! The rest of them are finally getting a backbone!" And then it comes time for the vote, and nobody has the guts to write Russell's name down. Until last night - Monica and Brett wrote his name. So Monica is gone, and once Russell figures out that Brett was the other one who wrote his name, Brett will go next.

I didn't hate Monica like the rest of you - I got a kick out of her last night. She realized that she was going home and didn't stand a chance of changing their votes. But she realized she had nothing to lose, so that's why she tried to "expose" Russell's maneuverings and get everything out in the open. Good for her! If you can't save yourself, at least get the rest of them thinking what a danger Russell is.

As for all their talk about Russell not needing the $1M since he's "rich": the game isn't about who needs the money - it's about outwit, outplay, outlast. If Russell makes it to the final 2/3, he deserves to win. Unless Natalie, Jaison or Mick can somehow convince the jury that their strategy of letting Russell call all the shots and staying in the background was better than what Russell did.

As for Shambo, I can't believe she's still in the game! I certainly hope she doesn't make it to the final 2/3.

I agree but I think she believes she caused a big riff. I don't think that has happened at all

I think Russell reaction was his way of keeping the others fearful of him. They all know those who crossed him are now gone and this fact alone could keep them from plotting against him. They have to decide to all do it or not at all. As long as they keep getting cold feet, he will continue to control the game.

I agree with you luvmy3, Shambo is not a good player. The only reason she has stayed is because she was not liked by her tribe and that helped when the merge came. Voting for her because she is a hard worker is a stupid reason to vote for a winner. The same would go for voting for someone who needs the money.

Indeed, the money is for who plays the game better, and Russel does. They had their chance last night and they didn't do a thing, now Russ is gonna start chopping heads.

Russell showed his weak side last night, when he thinks that he doesn't have control of everything he can't hide it, he was pissed and scared too, he should had played dumb with monica.

As I have said before, Russell has a big mouth, and everytime he says something he shouldn't have (like, I made 2 million last year) he then tells the camera that he did it on purpose, and now he has to vote that person off.

Should Russell get voted off, I imagine that later, when asked why he lost, he will say in his best Ralph Kramden (Honeymooners) voice:

"I have a BIG mouth!"

The difference should be obvious: Russell has DOMINATED this game, he's got a right to be cocky. Monica hasn't done jack but is acting like she has.

Exactly! I hate Shambo's cocky attitude, like she owns the camp, Dave asked her about the Chicken and that was it, "you need to go". The only reason she is there is because she is Russ's pet, he would chop her head off anytime. She is so stupid that has not realized that yet.

Russ does have a big mouth and ego. The only reason he showed the idol is to show is to send the message "hey look at me, I have and idol so if you are thinking about voting me off..look at me, I control you". Going around questioning everybody, 'did you said this, did you say that' was a wrong move, he showed his weak side.

I think it would be hard for Russ to get the votes from the jury, all of them hate him. If the final 2 is:

Russ & Brett --- Brett will win
Russ & Natalie ---Natalie will win
Russ & Jaison --- Jaison will win
Russ & Mick ---- Mick will win

His only chance would be him and Shambo, because of the fact that everybody in the jury knows now that Shambo was the galu traitor and if Russ was able to send them home was in part because of her.
