My boyfriend said the same thing too ... He said at least we won't have to worry about missing it while we're at Disney. I am glad to hear that Rupert will be back in the All-Stars series. Maybe he'll win that one...

Because Johnny Foulpole will get his! I think Sandra is going to go "Rupert" upside his head next week (well, maybe only verbally, but it should be fun to watch). Plus, if the Big Lie involves him, maybe the others find out and are mad enough to get rid of him. If he makes it to the final two, it might be worth watching just to see Rupert question him.

There is only two men left. I think all the women should gang up and vote Burton and Jon off as soon as they can. I would like to see Sandra win it all also.

Unfortunately I think Jon has a very good chance of winning if he goes up against Burton or Lil. I really don't think any of the jury would vote for an outcast, even if it meant that Jon would win and I think Jon knows that.

I have to say, I felt so sorry for Rupert when he made his farewell speech at the end. He was so disappointed and heartbroken:(

I don't know if we are going to watch the whole show every week. I really didn't like the big switch, somehow it just didn't seem fair, and I can't stand Johnny Fairplay. I want to wipe that smirk off his face.

I am looking forward to Super Bowl Sunday now when Survivor will return with the All-Star group which includes RUPERT!!!!!!pirate: pirate:

Oh, Grog, I hope that schevoid certainly gets his. Everytime I see that awful curly hair, full beard, and scrawny bod, I imagine him accepting the 1978 Sleeziest Adult Film Star of the Year Award. ICKK....

It really is a shame, because there really isn't anyone left who truly deserves to win, IMHO. It seems that being a snake and staying under the radar are more important than playing the game honorably. I haven't felt this bad since Hunter was the third person voted out of Survivor Marqueses. Or Roger pleaded to keep Elisabeth longer in the Outback.

I think I need to find another hobby...

I can't wait to see Sandra's reaction next week, she looked pissed

I think you might be surprised, I think Sandra was playing along to keep Rupert's vote if she made the final two, especially if it came down to her and Christa.

If you didn't notice when they showed who voted for who, Sandra voted for JON, not Darrah. That way had Lil voted for Darrah (Sandra was assuming Lil was on their side and not Burton's) Rupert still would have gone (4-3-1) instead of a 4-4 tie. She wanted Rupert gone as much as everyone else did. And she can play it that Christa was the one who didn't vote for Darrah.

It's so sad. My son left the room after Burton won the Immunity Challenge because he just knew that Rupert would be voted off and he didn't want to watch. Turns out he was right. :(

What amazes me is that they supposedly voted off Rupert because he was too strong. Isn't Burton just as strong? The others had better keep that in mind if they plan to survive. Burton is nice looking but a snake in the grass so I think that they should vote him off first and then Jon. I'll go for any of the women before those two even though Lill is welcome to hit the road too as far as I'm concerned.

I have to agree with everyone else here. Tonight's episode was actually painful to watch. The way they showed the snake eating the lizzard also was enough for me to realize that it was Rupert who was going. I am sure it was the producers way of showing that even they thought Rupert was betrayed.

I have watched all the Survivors except for the first one but this season I am so tempted to stop watching. Jon is probably the most smarmy and disgusting character that they have had on this show and they have definately had a few. They way he smirks and acts all gleeful when someone gets voted off speaks volumes about his character and personality. Sure it's a game and you need to vote people off but there is such a thing as good sportsmanship and not being such a terrible 'winner' if you can call Jon that. It makes you wonder what these people do when they go back to the real world. Jon has completely exposed himself as someone who is totally morally bankrupt. He better hope he wins the million (I know everyone else hopes he doesn't) because I wouldn't ever hire someone like that for a job when his character is so reprehensible.

And as for Lil, I don't even want to get started on her. I can't figure out if she is just stupid, or simply a doormat. How can you be happy when one of your key alliance mates gleefully tells you to be happy because you will at least be number 3. Doesn't she WANT to win? She sure is making Scoutmasters look good. Isn't one of their creeds to be honest? Oh well enough of all that.

I really and truly hope Jon gets what he deserves. The only possible good point about his getting to the final two would be seeing all the voted out members tearing him a new one. But then again I can just imagine him sitting there all smug and smiling when they do it. One last thing, Ruperts exit speech tonight was heart wrentching. So sad that he put his trust in such insolent people.

Oh my gosh, you are so right.

I think everyone there LIKED Rupert, but it's not a popularity contest it's a game! I would have voted him out too.

I have all confidence that Rupert will not disappear. He was very well liked. His money problems (if that's what he was saying) are over.

In the previews they showed Sandra and Christa being accused by Burton of doing something to betray the remaining tribe. I think because Sandra was so mad that she threw Rupert's fishing harpoon in the ocean. We'll see.

I could see Jon accepting the 1978 Sleeziest Adult Film Star of the Year Award!

I agree that there's something fishy with Sandra--I was starting to wonder last night if she was actually in cahoots with Jon and his hand signs at tribal council were to her.

I kept thinking the whole show, and I've thought in other shows, that Rupert can be so naive. He doesn't have healthy skepticism. He believed Burton, he believed Lil--I feel badly for him when he's shown on a confessional talking about how he believes so and so and then they show that person plotting behind his back.

Anyway--when Sandra heard Burton and Jon talking, I was thinking how lucky that was--but then they didn't do anything about it. It made me wonder if Sandra didn't tell Rupert everything and if she somehow smoothed it over later so that Rupert wouldn't take it too seriously. For whatever reason, Rupert didn't see the need to do something about Jon and Burton, which I think is odd given what Sandra overheard. I also felt she was overreacting about being so upset about Rupert. It was a little too much.

I'll be TiVoing Rupert on the Early Show this morning and will report back later this afternoon. I think next week will be interesting--hopefully we'll finally figure out what the lie is.

Oh, and Lil--I can't believe I'm even typing this, but I think I'd rather see Jon win than Lil.

I agree with this as well. I liked Rupert from the start (being another Indy man), but he was wielding too much power and frankly starting to get a little creepy to me. I believe he thought he was not only the most deserving, but the only one deserving of winning and forgot that it was a game they were playing. He needed to go.

If Burton loses an immunity, and the ladies turn on him, I really think Tijuana has a great shot at winning.

Got to catch the Early Show this morning...Rupert was not available for a live interview. The reporter said that conjecture was he was on location filming for the All Star Survivor. He taped an interview for CBS from the Pearl Islands, so no questions from audience members or callers.

Good for Rupert! May be have better luck next time!

Even my kids loved Rupert and when the show ended last night, my oldest DD, 12, said she was too ticked to go to sleep!! :earseek: This might not be "too mature" but the kids all hope the rest of them out there STARVE!! Personally, I just want to slap Jon upside the head!! :teeth:

I was so MADDDDD last night. I can understand it's a game and it was a strategic move but Rupert WAS this game. He WAS a pirate! And to think that weasel John is still there. *sigh* Guess I'm free on Thursday nights at 8pm again ;)
