Hello all. Hope you don't mind that I joined the team too. I'm a bit confused though. I went to play and it told me that I have to come back for a new round. So, do I check back after the show airs tonight?

We have open house at school tonight. I better be home by 8:00 p.m. -- or else!

Amazing. If Morgan doesn't get their act together soon, Drake is going to run away with all the challenges. I thought it was so cool when Hagrid....err... Rupert found the spear head. I'm thinking that Morgan does not like Sandra right about now

What a BABY Osten is! They should have booted him. LOVED the guy shirtless in shorts and a suit jacket!! (Still fuzzy on the names!)

I'm liking Sandra more and more.

I feel so bad for Ryan, he might not be as strong as the other guys but at least he wanted to be there!

Actually - Shawna did the same thing last year - and her tribemates forced her to stay as well! They voted off I believe the lady who sang gospel songs and then the tribes switched and guys came to the camp and Shawna didn't want to leave - lol!!

I felt bad not only for ryan tonight, but Lil, as well - there went her only friend.

this is my first year to watch survivor. So I'm not sure of the "rules" Why did Osten ask Ryan to vote him off when Osten didn't even vote for himself-but Ryan?? Was that some kind of plan? I don't get it??

You are not allowed to vote for yourself.

Pam - I did forget about the Shawna episode but she was more whiney and crying how she didn't want to be there. She didn't really "do" anything about it other than whine and complain. Osten, however, was saying, I'll help rebuild the shelter but then I'm outta here! Made me wonder what his plans were, go to the nearest cameraman and say take me to Mark Burnett cuz I ain't playing no more! LOL!! In retrospect now, I realize that wouldn't haven't worked! He would have to injure himself seriously to get out of the game.

I remember when Mike Skupin got hurt. They said in interviews later that when the crewmen told Mark that there has been an injury, Mark's response was do what you have to aide him but the game continues. Then, of course, it became clear how serious the injury actually was and they had to take him out. I cried....

I really don't think that immunity challenge had a "photo finish", do any of you guys? What ever happened to "truth in advertising"???

I don't either. I guess if they had said something like "one team comes from behind to win immunity", then we would know who it was before they won. I sometimes wish they would say nothing at all instead of trying to make it sound more exciting than it is. It's not as if they need to go out of their way to attract viewers.

I would be surprised if Morgan recovers, but hey, stranger things have happened. I was not attached to Ryan at all...he seemed pretty useless to me. Not surprised he went. I wonder if Osten will get back in the goove...he was so annoying. I think Lil nailed it...he wasn't winning so he wanted to quit. I can't imagine the flak he's taking right now from friends!

What a great episode!!!

Why did Osten even apply to be on Survivor? He seems like a total wimp when it comes to outdoor stuff! Last week he was complaining about how he didn't swim well or something like that. This week he didn't even have to participate in the water challenge! They probably did the right thing in voting off Ryan, hoping Osten's attitude will change. That poor team is really struggling.

So far I really like almost all the castaways, except for the blonde curly haired guy and Osten. Tijuana is so cute and seems nice. I wonder why Nicole had such an immediate disliking to her.

Also the thing about their lack of sleep, even though their living conditions are horrible, wouldn't you think they'd be able to get some sleep out of sheer exhaustion?

I thought Sandra handled the looting in the best way she could. I really like her a lot!

I just watched Ryan S. on The Early Show and what a boring interview! The man host interviewing him was such a jerk. "Ryan, Ryan, what happened? We had such high hopes for you. You could have been a contender". And then at the end he tells him he was "a great player". Such phoniness is sickening.

Ryan wanted to make it clear that Andrew was the one (not "everyone") saying how Ryan did not pull his weight in that first challenge. Ryan also said that Andrew had it in for him right in the beginning. Andrew had the money on the boat and gave it to Ryan to hold while he got ready to jump in the water. Ryan had NO interested in holding the money. He said it was too much of a responsibility. So he asked "what do you want me to do with it, throw it in at you after you are in the water?" . Then Ryan complained how Andrew started cursing at him right then and there.

I don't know. I enjoyed Ryan's audition tape but he really was not a good Survivor. He knew the game and wanted to play but he was not a strong person and I am not just talking physically....

Why don't they do what they have to do early, then take a nap in the sand during the day? I know that if you put me on a beach, I can surely sleep during the day. They don't need to be in the sun, they can sleep in the shade. The sand has to be softer than the haphazard bamboo they are trying to sleep on. Even if they took naps in shifts during the day... This team just really isn't working together as one.

I can see how Andrew was annoyed with him. Right from the start he wasn't a team player. I think they purposely put young, dumb guys on the teams at the start just so they have someone easy to vote off.

Not that Ryan S. was my favorite player but why would you put him first in the reward challenge if you thought he was so weak and was not pulling his weight. I know Osten did not like the water but you only needed to get 5 things and there were 6 people besides Osten. I also don't think any of the other guys on Morgan did any better with the reward challenge then Ryan S. Is Morgan eating anything? I don't remember seeing them showing them doing any food gathering or eating.

I thought the same thing about Rupert when I first saw him

I was surprised too that they didn't vote off Osten. I know he's a strong guy, but if his heart and mind is not in the game he's really useless. They really should have kept Ryan in there, at least he wanted to play.

Well, I made it home from open house at school at 8:03 . Just about the time that tribal council started, my DS brought a big glass of apple cider into the family room (which he knows he is not supposed to do) and proceeded to spill it all over the chair and carpet . So, needless to say, I missed Jeff's interviews, but I did see that Osten(tatious) was voted out.

Thanks for the game info. I'll try after lunch.
