Survivor: Palau...official Thread

I lurk but never post on this thread, but couldn't resist.
I LOVED this episode and loved that Gregg got booted, and especially loved Jenn's expression when he was voted out.
Priceless! I was actually rubbing my hands together with glee!
:rotfl:

I was LMAO! I soooo had wanted Tom & Ian to wake up and give Greg the boot! If they'd only done it while Steph was still around.

Yeah..that WOULD have been a kick! Also, did you notice the expressions on the jury? THAT was priceless. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I made a mistake and took the dog out during next weeks previews. Can someone tell me what they were??
Thanks!!

ITA :rotfl2: that was great so was the look on Coby's face. Steph still looked pretty angry when she came out. I hope they vote Katie off next week.

I'm not sure I see why, though. When and where did Ian lie to Katie?

Great TC tonight! I love the faces on Jenn and the jury!! They really got Gregg, didn't they?

Katie looked like she was crying and even IAN looked like he was crying! I think next week's episode should be good.

I see the final 4 to be Katie and Caryn with either Gregg and Jenn or Tom and Ian. It all depends on who gets immunity and who can sway the 2 women. I think there will be a big power play next week. I see Gregg putting Tom in his sights. There has already been talk about Tom leaving. Tom will be a fool if he doesn't get rid of Gregg if he gets the chance next week.

Quoting myself! I was right :cool1:.

Ha! Bye-Bye Gregg. The look on Jenn's face was priceless. She knows that she's next unless she wins immunity. I also loved the look that Tom and Ian shared when Gregg was out of the immunity challenge. Cats and the canary, they had feathers coming out of their mouths. I thought that Ian might have been making a mistake when he told Katie, but it worked out OK.

BTW ... speaking of Ian and Katie ... are they having a "thing"? Didn't Ian refer to her as "My Girl"? They seem so attached to each other. Have they been flying under the radar while Gregg and Jenn have been above board?

Jenn is next. At least she'll be able to hang out with Gregg the rest of the week ;).

Very shocking episode. I was shocked that Ian told Katie the plan. I guess he took the chance on swaying her, but if she hadn't they would still be in the same place. So, good thinking on his part. I'm shocked that Katie went against Gregg and Jenn, although I think it was in her best interest to do so. I loved all the looks at TC. I wonder what's going on with Ian and Katie next week?

Basically, Ian let Katie know that her flip-flopping wasn't going to work. For Katie, it was either go ahead and vote Gregg out and be safe for another three days, or force a tie and have a one-in-four chance of pulling the Purple Rock of Death and going home! Tom and Ian sure did let her know who was still making the decisions, didn't they?

If they are smart, they will vote Katie out next... she has proven two weeks in a row that she will drop her alliance in a heartbeat to advance. But, I think she will play the sympathy card and Ian will talk Tom into letting her stay.

Great episode tonight! Both Gregg and Jenn had the most shocked, "Oh, sh**!!" looks on their faces! :teeth:

Just re-watched TC. I had remembered that Katie looked pissed the whole time... what I hadn't realized is that SHE NEVER SAID A SINGLE WORD THE ENTIRE TRIBAL COUNCIL! Wonder how much of that was editing...

Preview... Katie and Ian were both crying.

Katie: You said you would never lie to me and you did. You didn't even think about how that was going to make me feel, you going against your word.

Ian: You want me to step out? I mean, I'll do it. I'll do it.

Ian timed it perfectly. He had to tell Katie so they could all avoid the rocks. He waited until right before tribal council so they could do it as a surprise. I can't believe Katie pulled the "how could you do this to me?" act. SHE was the one who flipped first. Katie needs to go next.

Wow, what a good episode! The look on Jenn's face was hilarious. :rotfl2: She has done NOTHING this whole game but follow Greg around and I'm so ready for her to follow him right into the jury box, :wave2: but I think Katie needs to go first. She has proven that she will slit their throats the first chance she gets. She told Ian flat out that she didn't want him in the final two because she can't win against him. He's crazy if he trusts her!

At this point I hope the final three is Tom, Ian, and Caryn. Just can't stand the thought of those "lazy girls" (in Coby's words) winning this game. I would love for Tom and Ian to duke it out as the final two.

Can't wait for next week!

Okay, shows what a lousy guesser I am--last week at this time, I was predicting Gregg to win it all! So, now you all know why I'm not on the fantasy team (yes, I'm always this good!). But I think I could have a great career as a weather person.

Anyway, I was cheering last night. I was glad to see Ian tell Katie what was up--I think Tom figured she'd figure it out after the first round of voting, but this way, she had the entire trip to council to think about it.

You know, it's always the "knock the other players out" challenge that really brings out the hierarchy of the tribe. Gregg should have played it differently, but I imagine it's tough to put aside your competitive nature, esp. when you're starving.

And speaking of which, can we all pitch in to buy Ian a belt? He's great, really, but he's going to blow away any second! Still routing for him and Tom. But Caryn did great last night--I'm not much of a fan of her, but I'm liking her more. I hope Katie goes next, then Jenn--she's so useless.

I am really hoping to see a final two of Tom and Ian. I think it would be the most deserving final two since ... well, since the show started. If the alliance between Tom and Ian is like that between Colby and Tina in Australia, I think that's what we'll see.

How I think it'll play out (just my guessing, and subject to who wins immunity) --

If the Tom/Ian/Caryn alliance holds strong, Katie and Jenn will be the next two to go. Most likely Jenn followed by Katie. Ian probably takes the word he gave Katie's BIL seriously, so even if Katie goes against Tom, Ian, and Caryn, it's most likely Jenn first. It's possible Ian, Katie, and Jenn could team up and get rid of Tom if he loses immunity. If that happens, though, I'd be surprised. It would take something very major for Tom or Ian to turn on the other.

IF Katie doesn't royally screw Tom and Ian over, Caryn could be next. If Tom and Ian decide that Katie can't be trusted and was willing to switch to team with Gregg and Jenn, then Katie's gone.

Final three time ... Tom, Ian, and Caryn or Katie. Tom wins immunity, it's Tom and Ian to the final two. Ian wins immunity and Caryn's there, it's Tom and Ian to the final two, but if Katie's there, it very well could be Ian and Katie. Katie wins immunity, it's her and Ian if their alliance holds. Caryn wins immunity, most likely it'll be her and Ian because she'll see Tom as the likely winner, although she could take Tom to the final two because he helped her get that far.

Ought to be an interesting next couple of weeks.

Do you really think they will go back to the Katie alliance after she betrayed them? I hope not. Caryn deserves to be in the final 3 with them. She could of very easily approached the other side to help them get rid of Tom, since he did not win immunity.

I think the men have to keep winning immunity. There are 3 girls to two men. Once they realize Tom and Ian are inseperable (final two) they are going to need to break them up. If one of the girls gets immunity, 3 votes for one of the men, and that guy is out. The girls know they cannot win if they are in the final two with Ian or Tom.(if they don't, they are blind).

Here is how I hope it plays out, next week, vote off Katie. Just so she can't sweet talk her way to the final 3.. Then Jenn, leaving Caryn, Ian and Tom. The final 2 is a toss up, because it depends on who wins immunity. They really have to decide who they can beat.

Actually, wouldn't it have been a one in TWO chance? The way Tom explained it, if there was a tie, the two people who were tied BECAME safe. Ian had immunity, so out of the 5 people, 3 were safe, so it would of been Tom and Katie pulling a rock. SCARY. :earseek: (visions of Pasqual are running through my head)

 I loved last nights episode!!! This was the best one in a long time! Love it when someone that so deserves to be had gets had!

The look on Jen's face :rotfl: ......

This can't be happening! I'm supposed to be the next Amber! Gregg is Rob!! How can I be Amber if you vote off my Rob!! But I'm cute!!!! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE AMBER!!!!!!!

I was seriously beginning to doubt the intelligence of the rest of them if they were going to continue to let that relationship ride!

I really really hope that Ton and Ian go into the final 2 together. How refreshing to have to chose between 2 that deserve to be there than to have to chose the lesser of 2 evils which is what normally ends up! Although I may be in the minority.. most people I think are rooting for Tom to win it. I want Ian to win it (and use some of the million $$ to put some meat back on his bones.. that immunity necklace is going to be an immunity belt in another day or two :rotfl2: )

Anyone else think when the people that went on the reward challenge got to swim with the dolphins that if Ian won he would have said "What kind of reward is this? This isn't a reward! This is my job!" ;)

I think it would of been really cool to see Ian interact with the Dolphins, and I am sure he would of LOVED it. It would of been something to connect him with "home".
