Survivor: Nicaragua Wed, Sept 15**No Spoilers**

Ponderosa is the place all the contestants go when they are voted off but are on the jury. It's food, rest and rehab.

When my buddy was voted off survivor he was given a complete tour of Africa for his remaining time, they can't go home until show is done filming. There was a film crew out side his house for some time trying to see if and when he came home. Did you notice how is was raining last night? Tribal council is filmed to coincide with weather events like this. They are sometimes hurried or delayed. On his tribals they had them walk 5 hrs to get to the location to appear tired and to be agitated for the filming. If you notice many of the survivors are grouchy during tribal council, this is done on purpose. It neat to see all of his survivor "stuff". He has it all displayed at his dental office.

She just never said where that "ray" was originating from tho.
If my kids were being "taught" by her at the Y, I'd yank them in 2 seconds. Sure, we don't know all the things the teachers teaching our kids are, but it's quite clear on that one and I'd be proactive and protect my child from a known, person of bottom-barrel character. It's BS that you are a different character in the game than you are in real life.

Why did they get to be on the jury when they quit???

That's what I want to know!! This should not be allowed. Did anyone see in the Ponderosa video where she said, "This is like a vacation..." She does NOT deserve to be there!!

I read that they get to be on the jury because the precedent was set when Janu quit several seasons back. Part of negotiating her quitting was that she wanted to keep her jury spot. I don't think these two should be on the jury, but they don't let me make the rules unfortunately!

The good thing is, they realize the UNpopular-ness ( ) of that decision to go w/ the precedence that had been set and it WILL change for the future (per Jeff's blog).

I am SOOO glad Naonka is GONE. Now we can talk about something BESIDES her! All she wanted was her 15 mins of fame and she got it. Goodbye, good riddance.

I just have to ask if anyone else felt the same way as I did. It took my husband to point it out but shouldn't Dan have also volunteered to give up the reward for the tarp and rice? He didn't participate in the win, he only got to go because he chose the right team. Don't get me wrong, NaOnka should have been the first to volunteer but I would have liked to see Dan step up instead of Holly.

I believe that Jeff did not mention Dan's name when saying who could volunteer to give up the reward...just the folks who participated in the challenge.

Exactly! My DH mentioned that too while watching! What about Dan? He didn't do anything at the challenge, I know Nayonka was going home anyway but not that im defending her, she was in the challenge, Dan sat on the big chair the whole time, he could had volunteer as well. just saying.

Yes he could have volunteered but again, it wasn't his fault that he wasn't picked. And he got lucky with supporting the right team, it happens. I don't think Dan should be penalized because of that.

Nobody had to volunteer. Holly could have stayed and gone on the reward.

Yea, I don't get why she volunteered and then got mad when Nay didn't offer to stay. Holly put herself in that position.

She shouldn't be mad. She should be happy that she got "goodwill" points from the rest of the tribe should she make it to the end. She should be beyond happy that she got that opportunity.
