3) Why was Alina sobbing like a baby last night? She was acting like her mother just passed.

I was wondering this myself. I'm sure part of it is that Alina would have LOVED to still be in the game, and to see someone just up and quit has got to be tough.

And remember back when Naonka stole the flour and the other food? She took Alina with her to share some of the fruit, and once Naonka was caught, Alina seemed to "share the blame", and then Alina was voted out that night. I could never figure out why Alina took part of the blame for stealing the food when she had nothing to do with it, unless she was trying to protect Naonka for some reason? Who knows?

On the other hand, even though I've watched every episode of Survivor since Season 1, I have no idea who Janu from Palau is; hopefully Naonka will sink into obscurity just like Janu. I want to wipe her from my mind!

He said he was "shocked" Nay didn't stand up when the tarp and rice were offered. then he realized the fallacy of his expectations. I'm wondering now that will he again be "shocked" or will the apple have not fallen far from the tree? Does anyone expect her family to say they were supportive, no matter what? It can be philosophical, is someone born this selfish, or do they learn it. Or is it both? I suddenly have the urge to watch "Trading Places".

Good memory! They remained friends long after show. I had a very nice conversation with them at a Survivor event here. I hoped that Coby might return one day as he was a strong player. They are the first couple of photos in the link in my signature.

Forget precedent. The game has changed so much since Janu played and quite. That is a poor excuse. If you quit, you quit. You should not be able to have ANY impact on the rest of the game. To think that these two idiots might have an affect on who wins the million makes me sick.

I can only imagine what dimwitted questions they'll ask. I didn't get to see part 2 of Ponderosa yet but I wonder if Alina is in it? Because she was nowhere to be seen when Purple Kelly and Nay arrived. I can't imagine her being as sweet as pie to them like Brenda and Marty were being.

Oh geez, I hadn't thought about the questioning part of the final tribal council. Can you see it if Fabio makes the final 3? He couldn't even say "hi" to Naonka without her flying off and tearing into him, even after she stole his socks! I wonder....since they quit, even if they're on the jury maybe they won't be allowed to ask any questions? Nah....the producers know that Naonka is good for some drama.

Precedents are set all the time, but that doesn't mean the knee-jerk reaction to the first one was the right one. Those 2 should NOT be allowed on the jury. IMO, not even allowed at Ponderosa. But I suppose they needed to keep them there to keep at least Nay's big mouth under control.

It was interesting to watch Ponderosa but was disappointed. Was hoping for some drama but there wasn't any. Well, Alina didn't show when Kelly and Nay arrived but did come out the next day. I can understand why Alina took it hard. I'd be upset too.

Both Nay and Kelly are happy with themselves. Would love to have been a fly on the wall during last night's episode.

Marty and Brenda took the high road when the two arrived, welcoming them with sweets. Then the two girls and Brenda had a slumber party.

They all went to Granada the next day. Looked like everything was fine and dandy. Marty cooked them dinner one night. They are one big happy family if your looking in from the outside. We shall see what happens when the next person arrives.

Since Jeff has mentioned it several times, I guess there will be a final three instead of a final two.

Ponderosa is the place all the contestants go when they are voted off but are on the jury. It's food, rest and rehab.

But frankly, I didn't think the reward was all that. So if I had been any of the 5, I probably would have jumped at the chance to "sacrifice" a little for the benefit of the tribe. The goodwill that buys you if you make it to the end cannot be overstated.
