Gary may not have been recognized on looks, but very likley would have been by his real name. Pretty unique and memorable last name.

Give Judd a break, he was drunk. I think he was also a genious to give the guy next to him the answer so Margaret didn't win. I think it was prety clear he wasn't just talking out loud, he was giving the answer.


Steph rocks, and IMO she did get screwed lat time around, so I'm happy she got another chance. Don't be surprised if she makes it to the finals.

I wondered about that too, but in the past when this has been done I think I remember comments on how the person granting the immunity wanted to give it to someone who they thought was NOT a target, and therefore their vote would have no effect on how the tribe wanted vote to go....that way there could be no reprecussions for Rafe down the road (like "we wanted to get rid of Brian, but you granted him immunity and we're mad at you")

All I can say after last night is JUDD NEEDS TO GO! What a jerk.

I haven't really grown to have a favorite yet... I like Stephanie because she keeps a level head and doesn't act like an idiot.

To those who blame Judd's mouthy ignorance on the beer...he had what, 3 beers? Even on an empty stomach, I doubt he was even buzzed. I'm sure he's had his share of drinks in his day. He's just an ignoramus.

As for Steph and Jamie -- they better watch their backs. Judd will turn on them just as quickly as he's turned on everyone else. I'm going to guess that Steph is the only one who could go head to head -- verbally -- with Judd and come out okay.

I like Amy -- she's definitely one tough broad.

Hey, I am finally back after taking some time away.

Really am enjoying it. I cannot believe Amy. I don't think Bobby Jon is any crazier than before and Judd just makes me laugh. They won't get rid of him, yet, because they think they need his strength.

I am sure the beer helped Judd's mouth. Empty stomach and no booze for awhile, it would make anyone at least a little tipsy.

I sooooo agree. I don't think I ever laughed so hard at a tribal council before. IT WAS GREAT!!!! I loved it. LOL.

I can't believe the show has been over for 4 hours and no posts yet!!

I liked Amy, too bad to see her go. But with her bad ankle, it was probably time.

Interesting to see them have a pool party together!!! I don't remember them ever doing that on previous Survivors.

I think Gary or Danni may take this whole thing....

MERGE!! Seems so quick that they are at that already. I can see lots of fighting going on in the tribe now!

I bet BJ is the first one gone now that they have merged.

I also liked Amy and knew that when they lost the challenge she would be the one to go.

I think it is going to be interesting to see how the merge works out. Who will still be loyal to their "first" tribe. Will Steph and Gary still have some sort of alliance?

If you go back to the beginning (before the switch) which original tribe now has the most members left with the merge? I can't remember, but I wonder if that will be a factor now?

Amy was voted out? What happened? I missed the majority of the show last night. The only part I caught was the pool party.

Now that they have merged, the girls had better come up with a strategy because there are a lot of strong guys left (Bobby Jon, Gary, Judd, Jamie). I bet Rafe goes a long way, not a threat to the guys, friendly with the girls. My bet is Bobby Jon or Judd are next to go.

I didn't really like Amy, but I was impressed with how she kept battling. I don't think it was her time to go yet.

I know there are 4 (Rafe, Lydia, Steph, Gary) and 4 (Danni, Judd, Cindy, and Bobby John) left from the very first tribes. I don't remember which team Jamie started on, wherever he started is the group that has the advantage going into the merge. However, it doesn't appear that the original tribes are all that tight anymore, which is what Jamie was noticing at the pool party.

I was surprised they were allowed to take the chocolate from the reward. I thought once the reward was over, they had to leave the food behind?

That was nice of them to share though. I dont' remember the teams ever getting together like that before.

I really am surprised they didn't take BJ out last night. They all feel he not deserve to be there. So why not?

I didn't think it was time for Amy to go yet. I think she worked hard and gave her all at the challenge.

Did you see Steph's face when they lost the Reward Challenge? She was not a happy camper.

Right now I'm not seeing any clear favorite, which translates to me not seeing anybody that is going to be the clear target to vote out. There doesn't seem to be the perfect match of strength and brains that there has been in other seasons.

The closest I see is Steph, but I realize I'm one of the few wanting to see her win at this point. It's likely they will go against her based on the "she's already had her shot" deal.

Not surprised to se Amy go, but I thought she was a real sport with her injuries and all.

I didn't like Brandon at first, but he's growing on me. He seems strong, but less of a target/threat than Judd or Bobby Jon. I don't see BJ or Steph making it to the end--esp. as the numbers dwindle, the fact that they've done this before will hurt them--you know, when the gang is really thinking about winning the $$.

I must say I like Danni--she's a real competitior! But if she gets any thinner, you're going to see right through her! And Cindy is doing a good job of flying under the radar while contributing. I could see either woman making it to the final four--but my predictions are generally terrible, so take that with a grain of salt.

I thought it was nice too. I really didn't like Jamie's and Cindy's response to it when they talked about how stupid it was and acted like they were fraternizing with the enemy. I think in general, this group more than any other take themselves entirely too seriously.

And I'm very sad that Amy left. She's one of my favorites.

I still want Steph to win. I do not like Gary (just admit about the football thing, geesh, you think you are so special ) or Brandon (he also thinks he is better than everyone else) and Judd was way out of control the last few weeks. I like all the girls but agree that Danni is so thin, it pains me to look at her ribs sticking out. I don't think the producers realized how brutal those big balls would be on everyones shoulders. BJ's looked the worst, but everyone who played had scabs on their shoulders - ouch! I think with the merge anything can happen. We will all see next week
