Survivor - Guatemala

So do you think that was a wise decision for them to vote out Blake?

Okay, I really liked Steph last season, but she is totally obnoxious this year. I can't figure out who grates on me the worst: Steph, Judd, Brian or Brandon.

I don't know if it's the editing, but I'm not liking Steph at all on this Survivor. She seems overly bossy. I want her to get voted out.

I'm not sure it was. He did seem pretty annoying, but I am thinking they should have kept him for his athletic ability. It will be interesting to see how that turns out.

I'm ok with them getting rid of Blake. Who else should they have axed? On that team I like Amy and Brian. The others can go. I would like Gary, except for the fact that he's lying to everyone. I'm also not liking Stephenie this season. It's like she has this entitlement to be good at Survivor. Like she "owns" the game and it's everyone else's fault that she keeps losing. I did have to laugh when she said BJ cheers like a girl. :rotfl:

I feel sorry for Stephanies team. Because of her being on it, I never cheer for them. I can't stand her. It is always "I get stuck on the bad teams" "I can't find a team that can win" Its all about her!! So annoying. I was so happy when they didn't win reward. That was a cool reward, the floating pool thing.

I think it was dumb to vote out Blake. They needed his atheleticism. They should have got rid of Amy. She is nice, and I like her. But physically, she can't do it. With her sore ankle, and now she gets hurt again next week.
I can't believe BJ turned on Blake! We all saw them making their agreement in the woods. After they peed. Then they shook hands. Ewwwww.

I like Brandon, Danni, Amy, Gary. Like BJ, but he is pretty annoying and immature.

::yes:: ITA about Steph. She is acting like a total know-it-all, and it's bugging me. I also was sort of glad to see Blake go. Not that I'm sure it was the best decision for them to win challenges, but I like Brian, and I didn't want to see him go.

I am the same way, I would much rather Blake to go than Brian. I was also glad that Nakum (Sp?) won finally, I hate it when any tribe completely dominates the game.

I recorded it tonight, so I did not see the previews for next week, what was it that makes next week look good?

Same here. I always set my DVR, and I hate when the previews for the next week go past the hour mark and then I miss them :(

I love the new challenges! It seemed like past seasons were starting to "recyle" challenges. I like these new ones, lots of fun!

Brian drives me NUTS! There's just something about him that bugs me. His comment about being from the North East is EXACTLY why I hated living in that region. I'm glad I'm back in the Midwest ;)

Lydia doing "the pancake"...priceless! :rotfl:

For next week, it looks like Amy gets hurt -- a big ball rolls over her. It sounded like she was screaming.

Oh, and "BobbyJon and Jamie face off" -- they were butting chests. Macho boy crap!

I think Stephanie will be leaving soon if she doesn't shut her mouth. She's going to bring her team down. She's constantly criticizing them.

I don't understand why people thing Gary's dug his own grave by continuing the lie.

Here is the way I see it..it is his word against Danni's. She can swear he was an NFL player, and he can swear she has the wrong guy. Bottom line, he played 15 years ago, as a back-up player. She has no way to prove he is Gary Hogeboom. The game is completed before they go home. So, it is not like they can go home, look up Gary Hogeboom, and then come back and NOT vote for him.

I think he is smart to stick with his story. He would be voted off 1st chance, because they WOULD assume he is rich and doesn't need the money. I personally feel he can ride this out. Unless you are a star palyer, really, are football players, especially back-up players from 15 years ago, THAT recognizable?

I agree with you. I do not see what the "problem" is with Gary denying he was a pro football player. It is not at all uncommon for any reality show cast members to give a "different" profession. Maybe he is now a landscaper.

Lying in this game, or any game, becomes a problem when you go behind you teammates backs or lie about something that happened *in* the game.

Especially when they realize that she had her chance to win last season and she was lucky enough to come back and try again. And it is always about her. It is getting old and she is getting annoying.

I was wondering too how she recognized him since he played so long ago, but then I saw what she does for a living, she's a sports radio host. Now it all makes sense.
I agree though he really does need to keep the lie up. Since he was a player 15 years ago and a back-up player to boot, he probably doesn't have as much money as people would think and I'm sure he's correct that if the others found out they would assume he's rich and would vote him off.

A few thoughts after last night.

1. If Dani was smart, she'd pull Gary aside and make a deal with him to keep safe in exchange for her keeping her mouth shut.

2. Lydia - loved the whole change in attitude and the "pancake" dance. She's may be little, but she's big in spirit and I think getting rid of her too early would be a mistake. She is a hard worker and gives everything her hearat.

3. Mom2Ashli - I seriously doubt that the other players haven't already realized that Stephanie had her chance last year. They knew who she and BobbiJon were the minute they were "revealed" (for lack of a better word).

4. Speaking of Stephanie - I loved her on the Palau, but man, she's getting on my ever lasting nerve. Her holier than thou attitude in that she's the strong one and can do no wrong......I hope they get rid of her sooner rather than later. I can't stand her because of her attitude this time around.

5. Golden Boy. LMAO Too funny, nuff said.

6. Love Amy. Her attitude, humor, etc. Unfortunately, I don't think she's going to last long (in spite of the coming attractions....first her ankle and now getting run over by the ball).

I know they know who Step and BJ are but they are so lucky not to have been voted off already just because of who they are. And now she is running her bossy mouth all the time. BAD NEWS for her.

ITA with your views on Stephanie...it started last week, and just blew up this week (my annoyance with her). Sitting there and rolling your eyes isn't gonna get the rope cut faster - ENCOURAGE YOUR TEAM...don't sit and complain!

Thank GOODNESS Golden Boy got voted out...man he was annoying.
