Time to get back in Survivor mode again...

I started a private tribe if anyone would like to join. Here is the info!

You have been invited to join a Private Tribe in the SURVIVOR Fantasy League.

To log in and join the Tribe, go to: http://www.cbs.com/survivor/, click on the link for Fantasy League, and sign up to build your own team. IMPORTANT: do not enter the name of the Private Tribe or its Password on the first Registration page.

After you have created your team, click on "Join a Private Tribe" and enter the information below.

It's really very simple and very fun!

Follow the instructions I posted above to join in. You will get a chance to pick four Survivor players (you can trade players as often as you like except an hour before the show airs on television) and you get points based on what things the players that you have picked do. By that I mean, if they do things such as dance, or sing a song or say their tribes name during an episode. Things like that. NOW, you can also loose points if they are on the loosing tribe during a challenge, or they get voted off, etc. You also assign your players bonus opportunities. These are points gained for "specific things" that the players you have picked, do.

All in all, this game is really just to have fun more than anything. There is a chance to win a new car but I don't think that any of us DIS'ers were THAT seriously into this game

Here are what you can gain or loose points for. I copied and pasted them from the site.

How Do I Score Points?

If any of the Survivors on your team do any of the following during an episode of the show, you score points. No points are awarded for flashbacks. You may assign Bonus Point categories each week to each of your Survivors. Watch the show and see what's happening.

Here's how Fantasy points are scored:

Reads Tree Mail: You score 10 points any time one of your Survivors reads aloud any part of the "Tree Mail."

Goes in Ocean: You score 8 points any time one of your Survivors goes into the ocean above their knees, except during a Challenge. No points are awarded for being in water during a Challenge. The Survivor must be immersed in the water to above their knees.

Chops Coconut with Machete: You score 15 points every time one of your Survivors uses a machete to chop a coconut. Points are awarded only for striking the actual coconut with the blade of the knife. Points are awarded for each coconut the Survivor works on.

Cries: You score 10 points any time one of your Survivors sheds tears.

Immunity Challenge (group): You score 10 points any time one your Survivors is on the Tribe that wins Immunity.

Immunity (individual): You score 25 points any time one your Survivors wins the individual Immunity Challenge.

Reward Challenge (group): You score 10 points any time one your Survivors is on the Tribe that wins a Reward Challenge.

Reward Challenge (individual): You score 20 points any time one your Survivors wins the individual Reward Challenge.

Sits Out Challenge: You lose 12 points any time one of your team does not take part in a group challenge, Reward or Immunity.

Voted Off: You lose 20 points when one of your Survivors gets voted off of the show.


Bonus Points: You are awarded 40 points any time one of your Survivors performs the activity that you have selected for them in the "Bonus Points" area.


How do Bonus Points work?

Each week you can assign one of several Bonus Points categories to each of the Survivors on your team. Each time the Survivor performs the assigned action during the episode, you receive 40 points.

If you wish, you may assign the same category to all your Survivors. You may keep the same category for any or all of your Survivors each week.

The categories for the Bonus Points may change during the run of the game. The categories for the first week of the game will be:

First person in the episode to be seen in an interview
Picks up or gets picked up off the ground by another Survivor
First person Jeff asks question to at Tribal Council
Burnt by lava
Gets naked
Sleeps away from the tribe

Okay, I messed up. Made a type in my team name and when I requested an email reminder of name and pw, I received and email saying that there were no teams registered for that email. So.... I thought maybe something went wrong with my registration so I made a new team and joined the tribe. Guess what... my first team is there. Now my question... how do I delete one of my teams??

Woohoo! I got the last spot. I totally forgot about this and remembered like 5 minutes before the show was suppose to start.

Does the point earning start with episode 2? I can't remember.
