Survivor *Cagayan* BvBvB Next Wed 2/26!

Cass continues to lose credibility. The "peace sign" she threw at tribal after the vote tonight was in clear view of the jury, who already view her as a pretty despicable person. Just go see some of the Ponderosa video to see.

As to whether the show is fake or not, these people are not actors, but certainly would have to be if the show is predetermined. They are too believable across the board for me to believe it is scripted.

Woo is likable, but just not a good Survivor player.

Tony is a really good player, very perceptive, but made a big mistake tonight. He should have known he would get no votes, could have given the idol to Trish, and maintained his supremacy.

Still pulling for Spencer.

Interesting tribal tonight.:rotfl2: I didn't care for Trish, so am glad she is gone.

Cass's nonverbal comment was funny!

I have two questions:

I do not recall from when Tony found the immunity idol with special powers, how far into the game can he play it? Or is it now "dead"?

And- did I hear that the final is next Wednesday? I am so used to the final being on a Sunday, that the Wednesday final is just odd. Luckily-TiVo will record it whether I am watching it or not...but I like to watch the finals live, not later.

So-I'm still not sure I know who I am rooting for. I don't care for Tony, but I do really like the game he is playing. In other seasons, if I have hated the villain, I have not wanted them to win. But, maybe I would be okay if Tony wins. I also like the game that Cass is playing.

Can't wait to see who wins!

It wasn't really clear - he just put the SPHII around his neck, but didn't actually play it, so it's still good for another week??

Favorite moment of the tribal? Woo explaining the final five: Tony is the dad, Trish is the mom, Kass is the sister, Spencer is the son...and Woo is the foreign exchange student! :rotfl2::rotfl:

I was getting tired of this becoming the "Tony" show, but it still has the ability to surprise...

Pretty sure the idol is still in play, or he would have played both.
He made a point about trying to fool the others that it could be played when down to 4, but I don't think they will buy it.

That line by Woo was pretty funny.

I don't think the super Idol is in play anymore. I think that he's going with that plan to get to final three by making people believe that he can still use it at 4. If he really thought he could use it at 4 he wouldn't have acted like the plan involved some kind of deception.

This is the guy that built not one, but two "spy shacks." No scheme is too whacky for Tony. Knowing his luck, it will probably work.

I was baffled why he didn't give Trish an idol (never though he thinks he can make everyone believe he can use the other one later), then I saw that he actually voted for Trish. Now I'm really confused :confused3

I was happy to see Fire Marshall Bill go. Trish has been nothing but a Klingon/cling on to Tony the ENTIRE season. She has been a complete lap dog.

If Tony makes it to the final 3, he will be hard to beat. If Woo has a brain in his head, (and I'm not convinced he does) then he will make an alliance with Kass (Cass?) and Spencer, because those 3 are more evenly matched with no single person dominating the way Tony does.

I also thought it was the last week that he could use either idol. So I figured he would give one to Trish and he would use the other one. Then it showed that he voted for Trish. So I was confused also.

Everyone voted for Trish except for Trish who voted for Cass. I know they try to edit it so that it's a suprise, but I think so much gets lost when they do that. I would have liked to see what pushed Tony to make that decision.

Why in the world did Tony vote for Trish?!!? She was so beatable in any final three scenario. I don't get it at all.

There must have been other things that happened that we didn't get shown. Baffling.

I really want Tony to be gone. He is so annoying. I hope they don't fall for his "I've got a super idol that works at 4" thing. Even if he does go that way, I would still vote for him. What do they have to lose? Nothing. One of them is going if they don't get Tony. It's worth the risk.

I actually thought Cass played it well. Tony was promising everyone "final three" (except Spencer), and I totally get why you would point out his deception and duplicity.

Without hearing Tony's explanation (ugg, why didn't they let us hear??) on why he voted for Trish, my only thought was that she was the only one he told about having the special idol and that he was going to lead everyone to believe that he could use it at 4. Maybe he was afraid she would tell Woo or the others? I don't know. I just KNEW he was going to use his idol to save Trish and I was shocked he didn't. When I saw he voted for her I was like

Maybe. They showed him telling Trish that part of it's "special" powers were that it could be used at 4 (unlike the others which are good only at 5 or more). Trish was such a Tony lapdog she no doubt believed him.

I hope we get some explanation next week.

I also had to laugh when she said something about Cass getting some self-awareness....pot, meet kettle. I found Trish way more annoying than Cass.

I really thought Tony would give Trish the idol too, then to find out he voted for her???? Crazy. IDK what's gonna happen now, I really hope somehow he doesn't get to the Final 3!!!!!

Oh, OK...I must have missed the part where he told Trish it could be used at 4. I heard him say in his talking head that it was done at 5 and I thought he told her the same. Well...Hmm

I'm rooting for Spencer.

I thought the only chance tony had was taking cass and Trisha.
Going to be tough to convince jury he voted off.
I think most of them know he called each sneak attack.

Oh wait a minute. I missed the very end and didn't see that Tony voted for Trish. I figured Woo did instead, did he?

I think Tony is going to tell them the idol can still be used. Hopefully Spencer is smart enough to realize that Survivor wouldn't do that - letting someone use an idol to get into the final three when they've never done that before. If Spencer can figure it out, then hopefully he'll call his bluff and write his name down anyhow. Spencer, Cass, and Woo in the final three would be the best bet IMO.

The only problem will be if Tony wins immunity, but that isn't likely. If anyone else wins immunity, then the plan should be for those three to write down Tony and hope for the best. Tony will write down someone else and then they just have to hope the idol isn't still good.

Or do like my son said and search Tony's bag when he's gone and see what the idol paper says. But I noticed in last night's show that he took his bag with him and Trish to get water. She wasn't carrying hers. So I'm wondering if he carries it with him for that reason.

Yup. Of course, we have the benefit of KNOWING the idol isn't good. Any true scholar of the game is going to realize that it is highly unlikely that survivor would guarantee anyone final three like that....but who knows? If Tony is clever enough to convince them they would be "throwing away" their votes by voting for him (since he has the magic idol), and wouldn't they rather pick off xxxxx (insert name of person jury will like better than them) than get rid of ugly old Tony whom no one will like, than maybe he deserves final three. I would really hate it if he won though. He is not very likeable and a bit of a bully.

Spencer certainly has been getting the "final three" edit...but I also wouldn't be surprised to see him go. I honestly think he's got the best chance of winning of any of the four left. He's prevailed against remarkable odds the whole game. Plus, he hasn't really pissed anyone off.

I was surprised Tony voted for Trish as well. I can see why he didn't use his idol to save Trish, had he done that with the voting last night, Cass would have gone home. Cass is making herself so unlikable, Tony will want her at the end. It may be that he wanted to show Woo his loyalty? He knows Woo is kind of a swing vote at this point (as Woo has considered joining Spenser and Cass a couple of times now) and doesn't want to risk Woo teaming with Spencer and voting him out.
