I don't really think they all think that. I think some are considering the option of overthrowing King Rob at an opportune moment. At least someone should be thinking that way, or they will be sorry in a couple of weeks (or days in real time).

NO WAY!!! REALLY?? I can honestly say that since Survivor #1 I have NEVER MISSED an episode ( I know... pathetic... I need to get a life!)..... But last night our PVR system went haywire and I didn't notice that the show wasn't taping until 8:33pm!!! So I missed the the first 33 minutes!! Which was all of the good stuff! I missed both of the challenges (immunity and reward)..... I picked up where Boston Rob was asking if everyone could have their letters if he gave up his video. I was kind of peeved to have missed the challenges..... But I will definitely be watching tonight!!!!!!!!! YEAHHH!! It must be my lucky day!........ ................P

What system do you have? My Tivo was out since yesterday morning. When DH came home, he unplugged then replugged it, and it started working again. I had to watch Mad Mad House on the other TV before he got home, however.

We have the Dish Network PVR. Actually we have two... the one in the living room is the older one and the one that went funky last night... but I had notice a few days previous that it wasn't taping some other (non-vital) shows like it usually does (Magic School Bus for one).... thought maybe my husband had shut off the timers for those shows if the hard drive was getting full. But the upstairs one was fine. DH pulled out the smart media card and rebooted and it seemed to be fine after that..........P

I am a bit concerned about that trade Rob brokered with Jeff. So far, I have been readily able to dismiss all criticism of Survivor and other Mark Burnett shows as sour grapes. For example, there is a whole thread entitled, "Is Mark Burnett breaking FCC gameshow tampering rules?" in the TiVo Community Forum. However, my confidence relied on while the contestants may not know all the rules of the competitions beforehand, there were rules, and they were adhereded to, so that the producers would clearly not be able to twist things to the advantage of any specific player. My confidence is a bit weaker now because of this trade. I think that may have indeed been a violation, or at least should be.

For some reason your link wasn't working when I clicked on it and when I copied it, it had "http://" twice instead of once. I'm not seeing that though as I quote your post. Don't know why. I just ran my mouse over your link though and it still shows as "http://http://" Maybe it's because you have a space between "url=" and "http."

BTW I did read the tivo thread and it is an interesting discussion. I read some of the Survivor spoiler boards and some of the previous survivors also partcipate there. From what I understand, all the challenges are set before the game ever begins. So if Mark Burnett or Jeff Probst actually wanted Rupert to win, they couldn't suddenly change a puzzle challenge into a physical endurance challenge to favor Rupert. All the challenges are already set before the first day: some physical, some mental. In fact the production crew has already built the challenge sets before filming begins. They can't switch them around to favor a certain player. They may have a physical challenge on week 3 but there is no guarantee that Rupert would even still be there to even win, if you get my drift.

Unless of course, my fondest wish came true, and if Amber were to win she would look at Rob and say ( as Rob has said in diary sessions ) " You didn't think I was serious did you?"

I know it will never happen. But, man, would it feel satisfying !

As much as I dislike Shii Ann, I totally agree with her: "Stupid, stupid people." This was their chance to get rid of Rob and THEY BLEW IT!!! No, I don't want Rob or Amber to win the $1Mil, but at this point, everybody else is acting so stupidly that the rest of them deserve to lose! Cripes, they're living Survivor every single day; we only see 1 hour a week, and WE can see what Rob's up to; don't they have any idea???????? Stupid, stupid people!
