OK, for a much more detailed description of what is involved (and can be won) in the Fantasy League, this is from the CBS site (sorry for the crazy spacing!):

Scoring Points: You automatically earn 25 points with registration. Thereafter, with the exception of the Weekly Fantasy League Newsletter bonus, registered players accrue points when Survivor cast members on a registrants' team are awarded points based on their actions, and outcome of events (e.g., winning immunity) during an episode. Survivor: All-Stars episode #2 scheduled for broadcast on 2/5/04, will be the first episode used to accrue points to registered players.

Team point totals will be updated by 1:00 PM Eastern Time following the night of each new Survivor: All-Stars broadcast. All decisions regarding scoring in the Survivor: All-Stars Fantasy League will be made by an "Official Scorer", a CBS.com representative whose decisions are final on matters relating to the awarding of points in this game. With the exception of the Weekly Fantasy League Newsletter Bonus, points in each episode will be awarded ONLY for qualifying activities occurring during new, previously unseen footage. No points will be awarded for events that occur during flashbacks of any sort. Points are awarded solely for material broadcast during the Survivor: All-Stars television program, the Weekly Newsletter Bonus and initial registration.

Following are the categories for which points will be awarded in the Survivor: All-Stars Fantasy League (categories and corresponding point awards are subject to change at any time at Sponsor's discretion):


a.Reads Tree Mail: You score 10 points any time one of your Survivors reads aloud any part of the "Tree Mail."
b.Kisses Immunity Idol: You score 12 points any time one of your Survivors kisses the idol, as part of a Team or as an individual. Points are scored for each instance of this gesture, not for each kiss planted.
c.Drinks an Alcoholic Beverage: You score 15 points on every occasion that one of your Survivor has a drink that contains alcohol. This is per instance, not per serving.
d.Cries: You score 10 points any time one of your Survivors sheds tears.
e.Immunity Challenge (group): You score 10 points any time one your Survivors is on the Tribe that wins Immunity.
f.Immunity (individual): You score 25 points any time one your Survivors wins the individual Immunity Challenge.
g.Reward Challenge (group): You score 10 points any time one your Survivors is on the Tribe that wins a Reward Challenge.
h.Reward Challenge (individual): You score 20 points any time one your Survivors wins the individual Reward Challenge.
i.Sits Out Challenge: You lose 12 points any time one of your team does not take part a group challenge - reward or immunity.
j.Voted Off: You lose 20 points when one of your Survivors gets voted off of the show.
k.Bonus Points: You are awarded 40 points any time one of your Survivors performs the activity that you have selected for them in the "Bonus Points" area.
l.Survivor: All-Stars Fantasy League Newsletter Bonus: Registered players may subscribe to a free, Survivor: All-Stars Online Newsletter. The subscription form will be available on each Fantasy League player's home page. After subscribing, newsletters will be e-mailed to subscribers approximately one hour after the conclusion of the West Coast broadcast of each new Survivor: All-Stars episode. Each newsletter will contain a "Newsletter Bonus Code." A subscriber
will score 40 points when he or she enters the weekly Newsletter Bonus Code into the area available on each Fantasy League player's home page anytime between the receipt of the weekly Newsletter and the start of the next East Coast broadcast of an original Survivor: All-Stars episode. Limit one weekly Newsletter Bonus score per team for entering the Newsletter Bonus Code during the eligible weekly time period. If a weekly Newsletter Bonus Code is not entered during the eligible time period a registered player may not go back, enter the code from any previous week, and earn points. Subscribers will be provided with a mechanism to unsubscribe to the newsletter.

Determining Winners: Weekly during the Promotion Period the highest scoring teams will be posted to leader boards located at the Survivor: All-Stars Web site. Within 48 hours of the final episode of Survivor:
All-Stars the final standings leader board will be posted. The one registrant/team who has accrued the greatest number of points will be declared the potential grand prize winner. In the event there is a tie between the top point totals those tied players will be placed into a random drawing and one (1) potential grand prize winner will be selected. The next 100 highest scoring players will be declared first prize winners with additional random drawings conducted as needed to break any ties. If required the random drawing(s) will take place on or about 5/12/04. Drawing(s) conducted by Marden-Kane Inc., an
independent judging organization whose decisions are final on matters relating to game. Potential grand prize winner will be required to sign, have notarized & return to Marden-Kane an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability within 10 days of issuance of notification. Failure to complete and return the documents in the time noted will result in the disqualification of the potential winner and the next highest scoring player will be contacted. In the event an eligible participant has more than one team in the top 101 highest point total positions, that participant will be awarded a prize for his/her highest scoring team and any of his/her subsequent teams in the top 101 will not be eligible to receive a prize.
In such an event, spaces may open in the top 101 and the next highest scoring teams will move up accordingly. No more than one (1) grand and one hundred (100) first prizes will be awarded. Odds of winning a grand or first prize depend upon number of registrants participating and the points each earned during the game.
Prizes: One (1) grand prize an "All-Stars" Home Entertainment Center consisting of: (1) Sony 42" Plasma
WEGA™ Flat Panel TV, (1) Sony DVD Dream™ Surround Sound System, (1) Sony VAIO® Desktop Computer with Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2004, (1) 17" Sony Flat Panel Monitor, (1) Sony Cyber-shot® 5 Mega Pixel Digital Still Camera, (1) Sony Universal Remote, (1) selection of CBS
DVD sets, 1 year subscription to NetFlix, (1) Electronic Full Body Massager and a year's worth of Microwave Popcorn (144, 3.5 oz. packages). Estimated retail value of grand prize is $10,837.

One hundred (100) First Prizes: A Survivor: All-Stars Cap. Retail value, $18 each. Total retail value of all prizes,$12,637.

I am now a member of "DIS Survivor" team. I don't know if old age has caught up with me but I watched all of the shows and am having problems remebering all the All Stars. Anyone else having this problem? I mean, I know all the big named ones but can't remeber, say, Amber.

One thing that SSB thought was VERY cool (expecially if some characters sketchy in memory, or missed some seasons) ... is to watch the season recaps from the prior seasons on the front page of the CBS Survivor site.

Was very cool to see the begining sequences for each... brought back lots of memories.

SSB is gone now until first show ... off to Virginia. I hope that everyone has a great weekend, and can't wait until next week so that we can talk about the opening episode!!!!!

I have never done this league before so I have a question. Do you change your people whenever you want or are you stuck with the same people throughout the season?

Yes, you can trade your team members. When you sign in on your team, you will see a button that says "my Team" click on that there you will see a link that will send you to a window that will let you trade your members when needed.

No, you're not stuck with your initial picks. You can trade freely throughout the season.

I think that you can still sign up for the private tribe. You should still have a link on the site. Just click it, and put in the name and pass word for the private team that you want to join.

I remeber during the last show that I was part of the public tribe, but the link to a private was always there.

Thanks ekmdisney, but I am listed on both the public and private. I would like to try to remove the public if possible, but I don't see anything that tells you how to remove yourself once you are on a tribe.
